Changing hinges to concealed, GAP normal??

Hi, modifying my cabinets from face front hinges to concealed. I have an 1/2. Overlay. Is it normal to have such a big gap between door and face frame when door closed??
Tried adjusting depth but door rubs on frame at maximum setting...may have to revert to old hinges..thanks

Post a picture of the door. It may be a door that concealed hinges will not work on.

Obviously something is definitely wrong. The old hinges looked better on your doors than these do, and the doors actually close and fit properly. The gap sure is not a good look.

I think it must be the make or .manufacturer ...I ordered the correct type for 1)2 overlay
