Why not move the guest bedroom door, so you can use more of your living room?

Is there anyway to fix this traffic pattern? Do you require two entrances to the guest room?

I assume this is the only space where a TV can go? No basement or spare bedroom etc.

The backdoor looks like a sliding door but will be double doors with a long glass pane in each.

You should include on your drawing the realistic door swing of these doors. They will eat a lot into your furniture placement.

How many people are in your house? How many watch TV together? Will you get actual use of making two different sitting areas in this room or will you end up having a pretty looking sitting area that never gets used and only the TV area gets use?

I think chispa migh have agood idea it seems the door is an issue for planning the space to act as one space The the TV could be more in the center of the space and allow for chairs and sofa Still odd but better I think . I usually do 2 seating ares in this type of space but only you will know how you use the whole space If the TV can go much further into the back space then 2 chairs facing the fireplace could be quite nice and maybe even used for a quiet evening of music or reading
