Need help with a buffet cabinet material and color

We have a beautiful oak dining room table with cream-colored leather chairs, and are now looking to add a buffet cabinet. I’d love recommendations on colors or materials that would complement the set. I included a photo of the table with chairs as well as some ideas for buffets. We can add colorful artwork if we choose a color close to oak. TIA. I love the silver buffet. Sorry for two photos of our current dining room table. Materials I considered include lacquer, metal, stone, and wood.

The table is lovely, you didn't mention the style of your homes decor. Size and budget?

I would rule out lacquer. the rustic piece is too casual for the table, and pretty big if you plan to put it under the pony wall...

Would you consider painting the wall to freshen it up? a creamy beige to compliment the floor tiles? and the stark white trim makes the floor appear dingy. A painted buffet cabinet in a simple style, like a soft muted blue or even a green tone? I'd choose something simple so the dining table is the star of the room.

Interior design likes to work within a style. I would highly recommend that you begin there. In the top HOUZZ search box, put in (one at a time) different styles. Don't get a piece of art just to fill the space. Get a piece you really love. It would be good to see more pictures of the room other than only the table to see what style would coordinate with not only the table but other items you have in this room.

Please none of that horrible distressed stuff with that table . BTW it would be nice to see the whole table and the chairs in the space . The table top looks elegant and maybe a bit Art deco but I need to see it all. Not sure how Rooms To Go was mentioned

IMPO you did not post a pic of your dining set. That would be a must if you truly think anyone can help choose a buffet. How large of a space is this table in? The first buffet might work if your space is very large. It's unfortunate it looks more like a radiator than a buffet. I would agree with Patricia on the overly distressed piece unless you planned to refinish it and just liked it's design.... It might be too traditional, we can't tell no knowing what your dining set looks like.
