I have 5 rooms with this woodwork and 5 rooms with white .
Have not got bedding yet so need help with that to

All rooms have to be redone before we sell .
So am open to any suggestion on style .
My head is spinning and I'm desperate .

Floor, ceiling and lighting could be improved to highlight the woodwork timelessly and show the relation between the room and the outdoors.

If you are selling then I would paint the wood and open the room up as there is nothing special about what the dark wood is highlighting. If the view was amazing or the windows were large and interesting then great but the dark is distracting from the room and it feels small. See the image of a basic room with wood trim highlighting ? Nothing
You have an opportunity to create a beautiful space which is what buyers want when they view a home. See photos of simple clean fresh spaces, very simply furnished but refreshing and serene, a room you can imagine enjoying. That's what I would. Advise striving for.

I agree with sailorleigh. Paint the trim white and use a soothing tranquil color on the walls like a soft blue or sage green. Overall, consider the colors and aesthetic of the whole house when doing this room. You don't want it to be too different.
