Paint color

I need help with paint choice for a large, high entry with not a lot of natural light . I have a small entry that has been painted light silver sage . The dinning room has been painted bay laurel . Both are colors from restoration hardware . I want to add color but not too much since there is a lot going on right when you walk in . Thank you so much for your help !

I think they go well together, but I would paint the entire front hall (small area and stairway area) one color. Stone Hearth or maybe a color a little lighter, would be a good choice.

The two colors in the hall chops up the space. You can always add a colorful rug.

Also, I would paint the ceilings the same color. With all the angles you have going on, you don't need to be breaking up the space with 3 different colors.

I forgot to mention we plan on taking carpet up and putting wood ( walnut Color ) on stairs and floor . When money permits :-)

Please clarify. Is the stairs area adjacent to the "silver sage" entry?

Walnut wood is a warm colour. It has a yellow tone in it.

The silver sage is right when you walk into the house, small entry . Then it opens up to this area , dinning room is adjacent . All three areas can be seen at the same time if you step back . Make since?

I don't , it will be a year before we can put it down . I kinda threw " walnut " out there because I know I like that color :-) .

It would be wise to choose your walnut flooring and stain, prior to painting. There are infinite paint choices, but not so many wood stains.

Take the color from room that you can see the most, either go up a shade or down. But in same color. Light at top of stairs should be changed to a chandelier. Art should be bigger and bolder colors.
