white glazed subway tile on a vinyl mobile home kitchen backsplash?

Can I put my whte glazed subway tile on top of the vinyl covered sheetrock backsplash in my Doublewide Mobile home Kitchen? If so please give me the step by step imformation.. Just want to add that we found the white glazed subway tile here on the property we live on and I love it and really want to have on my kitchen blacksplash.. Thank you

Why don't you call a local tile store and ask.

You probably can, but you'll need to sand it REALLY well so the thinset will adhere.

For step-by-step instructions, go to youtube and google it. You'll need to buy a tile saw if you have much to cut.

Hello Donna,

I would like to know if you installed the tile as backsplash in your mobile home. I bought polished mosaic stone tile and it weights a bit. I am wondering if it is too heavy for the thin drywall of a mobile home.
