An exterior entrance was added to this basement remodel where we built out a family room, bedroom, full bathroom and laundry room. A new foundation was poured and the concrete floors were stained a warm earth tone. The cool teals and blues juxtapose the warm wood and orange tones creating a lively space. Photo: Pete Eckert

The kitchen of the finished basement has a Marvel dual-tap beer refrigerator, Cambria quartz counters, a theater-style popcorn popper and restaurant grade espresso machine. The metal wall is Cuirassier Steel Metal Mosaic tiles that needs no grout.

We took this attic space and turned it into a modern, fun and cozy living and sleeping space. Built in sofa and bed along with custom cushion and throw pillows. Tables added to each piece. Beautiful area rug on painted flooring to warm the space up. Custom design, built and upholstered benches. Modern coffee table with metal blinds on windows. Hanging lights along with side lights to soften the space for a cozier look.
