Inspiration for a mid-sized transitional galley medium tone wood floor and brown floor seated home bar remodel in Minneapolis with an undermount sink, glass-front cabinets, dark wood cabinets, granite countertops and white backsplash

Designed by Interior Designer, A. Lantz Design, this Lake Charlevoix project was featured on the cover of Traditional Home magazine! The epitome of indoor-outdoor living is right here in this lower level home bar. Easily service guests inside the family and rec room or open the windows to service guests out on the patio! We chose a neutral-colored, high performance fabric for the swivel bar stools - easy for conversation and keeping an eye on the game. Plenty of lower level cabinetry with quiet-closing drawers stocked with assorted tumblers, and bar glassware.

This custom finished basement was designed to balance entertaining and family living with expansive open gathering spaces, a dedicated kids play area, a custom rope climbing feature, an indoor slide, a hidden play nook, and a private gym separated by modern black framed interior glass. Warm wood-look flooring, layered recessed lighting, and integrated ceiling details create a bright and welcoming lower level built for both everyday use and entertaining.

We included a sepia color tone over the original poster art and used this as a color palate them for the entire common area of this lower level. We included this custom sectional with performance velvet fabric, as well as a new table and leather chairs for family game night.
