This rooftop condo was a blank slate so adding new plants and planters to shape the space was exciting. This client was very motivated to have her space designed, installed and completed w/ new furniture before summer started.

This family holiday home needed to maximise the number of beds to allow for plenty of guests. Bunk beds in the children's room was a great solution of adding more beds. Adding pops of colour keeps the room looking fun and exciting for kids to have those fun sleepovers!

This elegant townhouse is rich in detail and has traditional and contemporary elements which adds a timeless appeal. A mix of oriental and transitional area rugs provide the groundwork for which each room . We provided an interesting mix of patterns and textures on the pillows and upholstery to add excitement to the basically neutral space, with pops of color. Custom molding was applied to the dining room ceiling that is right off the entry. No one enters without commenting on this element. As elegant as it looks the client wanted a comfortable feel and was extremely happy with the results.

With a lengthy list of ideas about how to transform their backyard, the clients were excited to see what we could do. Existing features on site needed to be updated and in-cooperated within the design. The view from each angle of the property was already outstanding and we didn't want the design to feel out of place. We had to make the grade changes work to our advantage, each separate space had to have a purpose. The client wanted to use the property for charity events, so a large flat turf area was constructed at the back of the property, perfect for setting up tables, chairs and a stage if needed. It also created the perfect look out point into the back of the property, dropping off into a ravine. A lot of focus throughout the project was the plant selection. With a large amount of garden beds, we wanted to maintain a clean and formal look, while still offering seasonal interest. We did this by edging the beds with boxwoods, adding white hydrangeas throughout the beds for constant colour, and subtle pops of purple and yellow. How do you add the wow factor to a kitchen? Leo designed a makeover for an existing house that would make it up to date, while at the same time add some unexpected interest. The client wanted a comfortable mix of pieces they had collected and a fresh dramatic touch to keep the feel exciting, yes we are talking about the kitchen. The kitchen doubles as a bar area,a place where all guest feel comfortable standing talking so why not encourage these activities. Leo added new doors with a heavy raised applied molding, added a wine rack section and wine cooler where a desk area was before. A antique French mirror backsplash adds sparkle and reflects light from the windows on the other side og the room.

This Westbury NY home was an exciting renovation for an amazing couple looking to clean and brighten up their home. Their desire for a dreamy escape was achieved with large slabs of Calacatta marble on the kitchen counters, and a custom made breakfast table. The crystal sunburst chandelier takes center stage while brass chair details and cabinet hardware add elegance and sophistication. Quirky Fornasetti pottery & pillows, Pops of color in art and accessories along with whimsical wallpapered ceilings are infused throughout; adding an element of fun to this chic home. All elements come together creating a rich, light, airy space with unexpected accents that enliven and breathe excitement into the interiors.

Inspiration for a 1950s kitchen remodel in Portland

This dramatic kitchen remodel transformed a tiny, outdated kitchen into an open, fresh and exciting place to cook and entertain guests. We bumped out the exterior wall 8′ to give the new kitchen enough space for plenty of circulation, cabinetry and countertops as well as a built-in china cabinet (see before). The buttermilk cabinets, handmade tiles and yellow walls contrast beautifully with the wedgewood blue island and soap stone colored quartz counter tops. The pendant light fixtures and decorative valances add a vintage charm for a truly charming space.

Amy is a great customer. And, my friend (and advocate) too! She is a longtime client of mine. Years ago we designed her living room – but she was ready to add some freshness and excitement to the things she already loved about her room. We kept some elements: the beautiful cocktail table and etagere. The art she had was working well. We added new furniture, window treatments, an area rug & lighting. She chose the Melanie sofa with it’s deeply tufted back and English arms. Then we added an Asher chair and put a bit of surprise in the room by covering it with a contemporary fabric. The geometric designs in the area rug and draperies in a citron color also added a right-now feel to the room. Woven grass lamp shades add a nice texture

Creating a themed home theater, concessions, and game room for this client was an exciting challenge. Star Wars was the theme, and we did not disappoint. From the lighted panels and sliding doors to the custom trim, you have the feeling that you are walking the halls of the Death Star and Darth Vader could be around the next corner. The homeowner will be adding black theater seating to the actual theater room. The spaces transition from carpet to tile.
