The clients shared with us an inspiration picture of a white marble bathroom with clean lines and elegant feel. Their current master bathroom was far from elegant. With a somewhat limited budget, the goal was to create a walk-in shower, additional storage and elegant feel without having to change much of the footprint. To have the look of a marble bath without the high price tag we used on the floor and walls a durable porcelain tile with a realistic Carrara marble look makes this upscale bathroom a breeze to maintain. It also compliments the real Carrara marble countertop perfectly. A vanity with dual sinks was installed. On each side of the vanity is ample cabinet and drawer storage. This bathroom utilized all the storage space possible, while still having an open feel and flow. This master bath now has clean lines, delicate fixtures and the look of high end materials without the high end price-tag. The result is an elegant bathroom that they enjoy spending time and relaxing in.

We gave this rather dated farmhouse some dramatic upgrades that brought together the feminine with the masculine, combining rustic wood with softer elements. In terms of style her tastes leaned toward traditional and elegant and his toward the rustic and outdoorsy. The result was the perfect fit for this family of 4 plus 2 dogs and their very special farmhouse in Ipswich, MA. Character details create a visual statement, showcasing the melding of both rustic and traditional elements without too much formality. The new master suite is one of the most potent examples of the blending of styles. The bath, with white carrara honed marble countertops and backsplash, beaded wainscoting, matching pale green vanities with make-up table offset by the black center cabinet expand function of the space exquisitely while the salvaged rustic beams create an eye-catching contrast that picks up on the earthy tones of the wood. The luxurious walk-in shower drenched in white carrara floor and wall tile replaced the obsolete Jacuzzi tub. Wardrobe care and organization is a joy in the massive walk-in closet complete with custom gliding library ladder to access the additional storage above. The space serves double duty as a peaceful laundry room complete with roll-out ironing center. The cozy reading nook now graces the bay-window-with-a-view and storage abounds with a surplus of built-ins including bookcases and in-home entertainment center. You can’t help but feel pampered the moment you step into this ensuite. The pantry, with its painted barn door, slate floor, custom shelving and black walnut countertop provide much needed storage designed to fit the family’s needs precisely, including a pull out bin for dog food. During this phase of the project, the powder room was relocated and treated to a reclaimed wood vanity with reclaimed white oak countertop along with custom vessel soapstone sink and wide board paneling. Design elements effectively married rustic and traditional styles and the home now has the character to match the country setting and the improved layout and storage the family so desperately needed. Our client’s family had outgrown their small home but they loved their neighborhood. On the 1st floor, they wanted an updated kitchen with an improved work triangle, more natural light, a breakfast nook, and a new powder room. On the 2nd floor, we expanded their daughter’s bedroom and reconfigured the floor plan to provide additional closet space. On the 3rd floor, we added a combination guest room/office space, additional storage, and a complete stairway to the roof with an oversized window at the landing. On the 4th level we added a pilot house opening to the new walkable fiberglass roof deck. The interior includes new hardwood floors, increased natural light, and updated lighting throughout. The kitchen transformation included two-toned shaker cabinetry, white quartz counters, a farmhouse sink, brass accents, and reclaimed floating shelves. We also installed new budget-friendly vinyl windows, a sliding patio door, and vinyl siding at the exterior of the new addition.

The homeowner wanted this bonus room area to function as additional storage and create a boutique dressing room for their daughter since she only had smaller reach in closets in her bedroom area. The project was completed using a white melamine and traditional raised panel doors. The design includes double hanging sections, shoe & boot storage, upper ‘cubbies’ for extra storage or a decorative display area, a wall length of drawers with a window bench and a vanity sitting area. The design is completed with fluted columns, large crown molding, and decorative applied end panels. The full length mirror was a must add for wardrobe checks. This 336 sq. ft. addition was the answer to our clients' dream of having a great cooking space and dining area that allowed them to take advantage of the gorgeous meadow/mountain views unique to this site. Originally built as a "starter home" the dwelling was lacking in natural light, and access to the available vista. Being an avid gardener and natural foods cook, our client needed a kitchen upgrade, food preparation space and lots of storage.
In the renovation the old kitchen space became a mudroom/laundry room and pantry, providing functionality that was previously unavailable in the small home.
The simple shaker cabinets and farmhouse style windows work perfectly with the country setting. The , Viking cooktop, and pop-up vent, corner banquette, and many cabinetry storage units were just a few of the carefully planned features that allowed us to make the best use of the modest space while keeping views free and clear.

This incredibly amazing closet is custom in every way imaginable. It was designed to meet the specific needs of our client. The cabinetry was slightly glazed and load with extensive detail. The millwork is completely custom. The rolling ladder moves around entire closet for upper storage including the shoe rack. Several pull out and slide out shelves.
