This outdoor living area helped our customer unite the magnificent indoors with their outdoors. There was an original builders cement patio and old rotting picket fence dividing the yard. We were able to design a functional entertainers paradise and give this yard a complete makeover. We helped them gain full functionality while be able to entertain guests for many years to come. The project Features Nicolock paving stone Stone Ridge XL collection for the patio in South bay Blend. The Kitchen and Bar area are also built out of Nicolock in the same South Bay blend. The landscape was spruced up with some planting enhancements, soil amendments and black mulch flower beds.

The owners of this tiny front yard craved an interesting front yard that was colorful, drought tolerant and filled with herbs. We began by tearing out the hillside of junipers and overgrown hollies against the house. We created an interesting bedline, added boulders for visual interest and lots of good garden soil. In the areas for the most drought tolerant plants such as rosemary, lavender and sedums, we further amended to soil to insure extremely well drained soil preferred by these plants. All plant choices are drought tolerant and can tolerate the full sun of this south facing slope. In this early spring photo you see blue phlox in full bloom along the walk leading to front door. In the foreground, fragrant dianthus is just beginning to bloom. Behind the dianthus, fall blooming asters are just beginning to emerge. This is a landscape of 4 season interest. **Green Giant Privacy Installation – Estate-Scale Screening** This project focused on creating immediate, full-scale privacy for a large residential property through the installation of over 400 Green Giant arborvitae. The objective was to establish a defined boundary and visual enclosure without compromising the openness or natural character of the landscape. The layout was carefully planned to follow the length of the drive, framing the approach to the home while maintaining symmetry and consistency. Trees were spaced and aligned with precision to ensure long-term uniform growth, allowing the screen to mature into a dense, continuous barrier. Site preparation played a critical role in the success of the installation. The planting areas were properly graded and amended to support healthy root development, with irrigation integrated to promote establishment and sustained growth. This ensures the trees not only thrive but maintain their structure and density over time. Green Giant arborvitae were selected for their reliability, fast growth rate, and ability to provide year-round coverage. Their upright form allows for effective screening without overwhelming the space, making them ideal for large properties requiring both privacy and scale.

Spacious master bath in this new farmhouse, showcases the soaking tub, the large shower surround and the full wall of cabinetry, including double sinks, towel storage and dressing table. The reclaimed wood and the wood look tile, also pair nicely with the crisp whites of the marble look porcelain stone.

This is view at the top of the natural stone steps. We had the walkway widen here at the crossways so more people could stop and chat before entering the home. The existing hydrangea really loved the soil after we amending it. We later trimmed the hydrangea far back to allow the newly planted perennials to grow into themselves instead of on the path. The original design had a large Lilac in the middle to act as a focal point but plant supply changed that. Instead we added a Lilac tree to this spot. It will require more trimming to retain shape and keep suckers at bay, but once it grows some and flowers it will be a much loved accent in the garden. The Goldenrod is just barely starting to bloom to help extend the blooming season of the landscape. A great native to our area that establishes quickly and blooms profusely. The Goldenrod we used was Solidago rugosa 'Fireworks', and to its name it really looks like fireworks when blooming. Keep this plant closer to the back, because as it grows taller it bends over to almost three feet wide. The pavers we used were a 3 piece ledgestone in a sahara/chestnut light color with a chestnut rectangular border. The path was wide enough that we could use a border and the proportions were not thrown off.
