Kitchen design for a young couple in Southern Oregon to utilize reclaimed Maple slab front cabinets purchased by the homeowner at auction. We worked to piece together the sizing of the cabinets to fit with the desired layout & storage needs as well as their planned appliance sizing. Open floating shelves wrap around the outside of a shallow pantry, and the island style peninsula connects at the back side of the pantry to wrap around as well.

Example of an eclectic living room design in Cincinnati

I designed this new living room to balance the high ceilings to be in scale with the furniture. Balance was achieved not only with the dark stained floors and oriental rug; the wood trimmed stepped cove lighting visually framing in the room. The weight and scale of the jewel tone drapes compliment the rug. I used iron pieces my clients had purchased at an auction and incorporated them into the recessed shelving balance by truly custom cabinet doors using heavy detail. Most of the fabrics are chenille.

Home office design. Previously a blank slate room: beige carpet and walls. Used client's existing desk and repurposed her antique lingerie chest for office supply storage. About half of the wall art was already owned by the client, but we reframed some pieces and added some. Picked up the rug, corner chair, side table, lamp, and small decor pieces from auctions and estate sales for pennies on the dollar. Client painted the accent wall herself, to save costs. Flooring was done in LVP as a whole-home re-flooring job at the start of the condo renovation, during which all flooring throughout the home was replaced with LVP except in bedrooms. Cost for materials, furniture, and decor purchased for this room was under $750; with flooring cost for this space added, it would be approximately $2,000 all in.

The angled island provides plenty of counter surface and storage. The narrow hutch is a family heirloom which does not block the light from the adjacent window. The butcher block was an auction find that serves as a coffee bar. The plate rack was custom made and the large cleaver above the window was a flea market find.
