Guest Room at Palm Beach features original Master Bedroom furniture suite. Fabric by Bruinswig & Fils was reproduced to refresh the existing sun faded fabric. Tiger Lily's custom produced bedding and draperies to replicate original design by Colefax & Fowler. Draperies in nautical toile by Schumacher finished with french pleat detail.

This stunning bedroom has so much originality to it, you hardly know where to start! With the wallpapered ceiling in a custom stripe that incorporates the color scheme of the space, it lends an eye to the horizon painted art duo above the lounge chairs with contrast welt. The simple bedding is well thought out with greens and blues incorporated throughout. A modern bed bench sits amazingly at the base of the bed with a pop of color. The custom circles mirrors flanking the dresser allow the room to seem even larger as it reflects all the amazing designs.

Easy elegance was the mantra when it came to furnishings, and a devotion to rich color is evident throughout the project. A collection of lavishly colored and textured patterned rugs supports novel furnishings and antiques like the solarium’s monk’s bed, French-styled daybed, and original bottle green pendant – restored to its original glory.

Originally designed for a contemporary beachfront getaway in La Jolla, the bed features book-matched head posts with a Venetian inspired "crowned" top all of reclaimed California walnut. Available in any size as a complete bed as shown or as headboard only. Shown in natural walnut finish, it can also be bleached for a lighter feel.

The guest bedroom in this two-bedroom condo hadn't been part of the original brief, but the client's university aged daughter moved out before the end of the project and so it was suddenly in play. Because it wasn't going to get a lot of use and was not part of the original budget, additions were kept to a minimum. The big save was being able to keep the original brown sofa bed and existing green dresser. A combination of custom and ready made cushions in shades of brown, lilac and orchid give the room-dominating brown sofa bed a more feminine feel and a collection of botanical prints further lighten the look.
