Welcome, to The Aurora.

Check out the laundry details as well. The beloved house cats claimed the entire corner of cabinetry for the ultimate maze (and clever litter box concealment).

Here you see open shelving for displaying beloved sculptures and art, and closed drawers for storage. Again you notice the colors on the bedspread and the bench seat at the foot of the bed. A beige textural carpeting is soft underfoot.

When our clients set out to reimagine their traditional-leaning home in Menlo Park, they sought a transformation that would honor its classic character while embracing a fresh, modern sensibility. Our approach blended refined details with contemporary updates, resulting in spaces that feel both timeless and current. The home now embodies a quiet elegance—sophisticated yet inviting, polished yet perfectly suited to the rhythms of family life, and their beloved dog.

Built-in cubby stations provide individualized storage compartments for each family member, allowing you to keep belongings organized and easily accessible. Additionally, a dedicated dog station offers a designated space to store pet essentials, such as leashes, toys, and treats. This mudroom is designed to make coming and going a breeze, providing ample storage for your family and your beloved pets.

These musicians (one of whom is also a scientist) needed storage, so these shelves and window seat were custom-designed and added. The Roman shades match the adjoining dining room. This is the north wall, which differs from the built-ins on the south wall by the cabinets housing their turntable so they can listen to beloved vinyl records.

The Mildred Bungalow was remodeled and reconfigured to suit the client’s lifestyle. The floor plan was flipped -moving the bedroom to the front of the house so that the living area could open out onto the rear yard for indoor-outdoor entertaining. The material selections, doors and furniture plan were all conceived with the client’s two beloved dogs in mind -even the kitchen island was customized to accommodate their bowls.

Our client wanted a fresh take on their beloved condo on Venice Island. We did a kitchen reno with new cabinets and countertops along with a much needed bathroom reno for their needs. The added beachy colors in the condo finished this revitalized space on the island!

Designate your address as a Halloween graveyard with our incredibly realistic Lady Tombstone Collection. My Beloved and Eternal Rest feature weeping women draping themselves over stately grave markers. The worse-for-wear Winged Lady has lost her head and part of one wing. All are remarkably detailed, and stand up to viewing from any angle—making them a superb backdrop for a ghostly tableau.

This charming buttercream colored nursery is inspired by the drawings of the beloved American Writer and Illustrator Beatrix Potter. Iconic characters, including Mr. Jeremy Fisher and Mrs. Tiggy-Winkle, are nestled into colorful vignettes around the room. Passages from the timeless chilrens' book Runaway Bunny, by Margret Wise Brown, enscribe the walls with the unfailing love that a mother has for her child.

1950's mid-century modern beach house built by architect Richard Leitch in Carpinteria, California. Leitch built two one-story adjacent homes on the property which made for the perfect space to share seaside with family. In 2016, Emily restored the homes with a goal of melding past and present. Emily kept the beloved simple mid-century atmosphere while enhancing it with interiors that were beachy and fun yet durable and practical. The project also required complete re-landscaping by adding a variety of beautiful grasses and drought tolerant plants, extensive decking, fire pits, and repaving the driveway with cement and brick.
