I designed these beautiful custom built-ins to blend seamlessly with the existing architectural elements, including the Oak pocket door, moldings, & walls. The long cabinet in the living room and the smaller cabinet in the den/office are sleek and elegant with no visible hardware and are painted the same Benjamin Moore color as the surrounding walls. They enclose the under-window hvac units as well as offer a great amount of storage in side cabinets. The desk is made of rift-cut white Oak veneer to match the existing pocket door. The panels underneath the counter slab conceal multiple wires. The overhead cabinets have recessed LED strip lights that offer task lighting. The overall design is modern but warm and highly functional.

A kitchen and great room get a refreshed look with light cabinets accented with dark wood tones. A faceted cherry island and stately wood hood act as focal points in the kitchen. Complimented by a custom made black farmhouse style table, the built in benches match and blend seamlessly with the kitchen cabinets. The engineered quartz countertops add texture, and the backsplash adds depth with ribbon trim, black accents, and a painted mural over the cooktop. On a corner lot in the sought after Preston Hollow area of Dallas, this 4,500sf modern home was designed to connect the indoors to the outdoors while maintaining privacy. Stacked stone, stucco and shiplap mahogany siding adorn the exterior, while a cool neutral palette blends seamlessly to multiple outdoor gardens and patios.

The homeowners were building a new home and wanted to incorporate a beautiful lakeside landscape design. The design was constrained by several factors, including lakeshore setbacks that limited development towards the lake and impacted sideyards, as well as strict impervious surface restrictions that limited installation options. To address these challenges, steppers and 3-foot pathways with planting beds were used to create connection spaces without affecting lot coverage. Despite these restrictions, the goals for the project were clear: create an open yard that maintains views of the lake, develop connected and versatile entertaining spaces, and use materials and colors that blend seamlessly with the house. The design also aimed to provide ample space for family and friends and incorporate a firepit area, hot tub, cooking area, longue beds, and dining area.

We modernized this historic home with a family-friendly outdoor space designed for effortless entertaining. A garden-view dining area anchors the grilling station, while a custom steel fire pit, swim spa, and hot tub invite year-round enjoyment. We rolled up our sleeves to transform the kitchen of our client’s charming but aging home in Washington, DC. The original kitchen featured worn-out, dated cabinetry and a layout that was both inefficient and impractical for modern living. To breathe new life into the space, we replaced the old cabinets with brighter, contemporary cabinetry, instantly opening up the kitchen and making it feel more welcoming. We also reimagined the entire layout to create a design that is not only visually appealing but also highly functional for everyday use. One of the most impactful changes was removing an old half-closed window and replacing it with a larger, modern window. This single upgrade dramatically increased the amount of natural light in the kitchen, creating a brighter, airier atmosphere and offering beautiful views outside. To tie the kitchen into the rest of the home, we replaced the outdated vinyl flooring with engineered wood, blending seamlessly with the existing flooring throughout the house and adding warmth and character. As part of the renovation, we also updated the powder room located within the kitchen space, giving it a fresh, modern look to match the newly remodeled kitchen. Seeing our client so pleased with the final result made the entire project even more rewarding. We’re proud to have turned an old, dark kitchen into a functional, light-filled, and stylish heart of the home.

This spectacular space boasted a two story white marble fireplace facade. The challenge was to incorporate multiple seating areas for large family gatherings. The client loved soft blues and greens and the husband requested a recliner. The large sectional can seat eight, a separate setting area has seating for four and the husband compromised with an Ekhornes chair and ottoman that blends seamlessly into the decor. Large scale accessory were appropriate for the volume of the room.
