We are delighted to showcase one of our latest projects, a remarkable affordable luxury minimalist home located in a bustling Sydney inner suburb. This project is a testament to our commitment to delivering exceptional architectural design and building services, tailored to the unique needs of our clients.
Situated along a busy road, we understood the importance of creating a tranquil oasis for our client. Our focus was on providing a high level of acoustic insulation to ensure peace and serenity within the home. To achieve this, we utilized Hebel panel walls, known for their excellent soundproofing properties, and installed double-glazed windows throughout the residence.
The result is a home that offers an unparalleled sense of quietude, shielded from the noise of the bustling city streets. This emphasis on acoustic insulation highlights our dedication to creating a peaceful and harmonious living environment for our clients.
The design of this affordable luxury home is a beautiful fusion of modernity and minimalism, exuding sophistication and elegance. We believe that luxury can be accessible without compromising on quality or design, and this project exemplifies just that.
The open-plan layout maximizes space and natural light, creating an airy and inviting ambiance throughout the home. Every aspect of the architecture was carefully curated to optimize functionality and aesthetics, reflecting the client's vision and lifestyle.
Our team of skilled architects and builders worked diligently to ensure that every detail of the home was meticulously crafted to perfection. We collaborated closely with our client to understand their unique needs and preferences, allowing us to create a custom-designed home that truly embodies their individuality.

Designed by Akram Aljahmi of Reico Kitchen & Bath in King of Prussia, PA in collaboration with Al-muhsinun Construction LLC, this industrial Scandinavian style kitchen design in Philadelphia features Green Forest Cabinetry in the Sierra door style in a painted White finish.
Kitchen countertops are engineered quartz in the color Carrera Mist from Q by MSI and kitchen appliances are KitchenAid (supplied by Reico).
The tile backsplash features White Subway tile with charcoal grey grout. The kitchen features lighting from Kicher. Clyde 1 Light Wall Sconces in an Olde Bronze finish and Allenury 1 Light Convertible Pendants in a Textured Black finish.
For Akram, this was a very personal project as it was his own kitchen. He had a very clear vision for the space, from cabinets to countertops and every detail down to the lighting and the look and feel created by the selection and placement of those lights. It is the same care and vision he puts into the work he does with all his clients.

This new mixed-use building located in a quaint village has made a name for itself. It features a third floor apartment, second floor office space, and first floor retail. The design of the building's exterior bridges the gap between new and old. The cedar shingle gable roof form and double hung window style blend with the traditional New England context of neighboring buildings. The vertical grooved siding and a sliding 'barn' door hint at an agrarian vernacular. The sliding door features sixteen sparking panels of 'glass quilts' designed by glass artist, Alan Davidson of Guilford, CT. Angular roof forms, support brackets, and trim along with the black paint color provide a modern edge. The building and the new first floor art gallery have generated much interest and excitement for the town.

With this client who has been passionate about plants all his life, there was naturally a close collaboration and a lot of input from him. Upon closer inspection you'd find some very exceptional plants that are sort of experimental but "all worth the try" in Gordon's eyes. And he is right! I relished the opportunity to use Star Magnolia stellata, Redbud Cercis 'Avondale' and 'Silver Cloud', Arabian Lilac 'Grand Duke of Tuscany', Royal Bromeliad Vriesea imperialis, also many unusual bulbs such as Scilla.
Besides structure providing shrubs and trees (Tecoma, existing Indian Hawthorne with beautiful structures, Sweet Pea Bush, Golden Breath of Heaven, Ilex, Ginkgo, Bronze Loquat etc.) you'll see here also my favorite perennials, succulents and grasses, all as low care and undemanding as well as low-water as possible, to keep the landscape colorful and interesting year round.
One of the highlights of this garden are the dry stream beds, bird bath and garden bench that we added. Built originally by himself and his wife, the dry stream beds were overgrown, mostly hidden by plant debris, or half rolling down hill. We had fun selecting a mixed collection of colorful and richly textured boulders of various sizes over, and with the input from 7 team members: Gordon, me, the contractor, the supervisor and three workers, we re-created the stream beds, making sure that anchor stones on the sides were well embedded in the slope, and that stone shelves and “top dressing” with smaller pebbles would add to the visual interest. Now these beds form very pleasing architectural features that look like they have always been there.
We were all surprised how quickly all plants adapted to the site and started growing and putting out bloom. Now the old birdbath, a traditional white thing with dove figurines resting on the scalloped bowl, looked out of place, and I suggested to replace it with a stone bowl. And that part of the garden just called for a bench under the Macademia nut tree, to observe the birds and contemplate the whole creation. Only stone would do, but not any stone! Gordon picked a Basalt boulder that was naturally bowl shaped. It’s so heavy that it took 8 men to heave it into place! The Basalt bench was not much lighter, and together they make a very inviting scene. This job should last for a while.

This Roswell residence was a full-service project, from site planning through architecture, landscape, and finishing details. The design was guided by the homeowner’s strong vision for historically accurate interiors and timeless character, which required careful attention to every element, from custom flooring to specialty finishes and architectural detailing. Collaboration was at the heart of this project. Working closely with the clients allowed us to tailor the home to their lifestyle while achieving the authenticity they were seeking. Special design touches and unique features were integrated throughout, creating a residence that feels both personal and enduring. While the corner lot and neighborhood guidelines required thoughtful planning and coordination with the city, these considerations became a backdrop to the overall design process. The result is a home that harmonizes with its setting, while standing out for its authenticity, craftsmanship, and charm.

This was the most frequently used phrase in the collaboration of 3 energies that resulted with this masterpiece "Cozy Elegance". The builder, the client, and the architect shared a common vision inspired by the spectacular lake front homesite. Elegant, refined, authentic; every space was carefully thought out to capture and exude the understated significance of blending nature with the home, while expressing the heritage of the owners’ life’s journey. It is a place that will inspire new memories for generations to come.

These elegant twin curved staircases transform the foyer into an impressive architectural statement. Rising symmetrically on either side of the entrance, they frame a curved balcony above, creating grandeur from the moment you enter. Both staircases feature rich oak treads and stringers paired with classic black wrought-iron balusters. Custom handrail components ensure smooth, seamless transitions through every curve. Careful collaboration and precise templating during the framing phase guaranteed a perfect fit along the curved walls, proving that exceptional results require both planning and precision.

This hillside home in Piedmont, CA was remodeled to change the style from a 1940's rancher with eight foot ceilings and dark interiors, into a modern geometric composition with vast white interiors for casual living and generous daylighting for displaying the artist-owner's works.
In a city known for rigorous and difficult design review, an addition, two variances, and a full stylistic change were unanimously approved on the first round. All sloped roofs and attics were eliminated and replaced by a series of stacked and overlapping flat roofs. This made the house taller on the inside and shorter on the outside, which helped earn design review cooperation in the community. Windows were concentrated toward the rear yard views or moved up high on the side walls for daylight and privacy, benefitting the owners as well as the neighbors.
At the start, the owner husband was so enthusiastic and engaged in transforming his house into something modern that he presented the architect with a scaled foamcore model, rather than the usual magazine clippings and wish list. He participated in the design decisions throughout the process. The owner wife is the artist who did all the artwork in the house. She had been craving a display space with large walls and good natural light. Both of them loved the location and great views.
The project was an opportunity to transform the style of an older traditional home into a modern one, while solving numerous problems. By rebuilding the 1800 ft2 top of the 3-story home it was possible to change the style of the whole building, since the lower floors were a neutral base, and also to change the lifestyle of the owners, who wanted to move their master suite upstairs and live primarily on the top floor as empty nesters.
Going into the project, the architect knew there were multiple encroachments into the setbacks and potential privacy issues with close by neighbors. He approached this as a complex puzzle made up of architectural and political pieces which all had to fit together elegantly. It took many careful moves, small and large, to arrive at a serene and cohesive result that tied old and new together seamlessly.
The design-build contractor worked closely with the owners and handled all of the construction phase documents and design adjustments, adding ideas of their own to make the project really sing.
The project was a collaboration in three acts. The owner had a strong design concept from the start. The architect developed it into a realistic project and garnered the design approvals. Then the contractor executed brilliantly

This bathroom was created for homeowners who found us online and reached out after seeing our work, trusting us to bring their vision to life. From the start, we worked together seamlessly, listening closely to what they wanted and guiding them through every step of the process. The result is a calm, spa-like space with a large walk-in shower, warm stone-look tile, a built-in bench, and sleek matte black fixtures that feel modern yet timeless. Soft LED lighting highlights the tile and adds a relaxing glow, while the double vanity with custom cabinetry and backlit mirrors keeps the room bright, functional, and uncluttered. Natural stone floors add warmth and flow throughout the space. This project is a perfect example of how collaboration, clear communication, and attention to detail can turn a homeowner’s vision into a beautiful, well-crafted bathroom they’ll enjoy every day—and the same level of care we bring to every client who finds us and trusts us with their home.

The one-story contemporary overlooking a lake and bird sanctuary was a retirement dream - open spaces, expansive views and plenty of room to host grandchildren. While the location was ideal, the home needed help - especially the kitchen as it was dark and confining. Walls were removed and doorways expanded to ensure the kitchen would be the center of activity. The dining table was placed in front of the window and a skylight added bringing in sunlight. We offered our clients practical solutions for storage and space planning. Specific items needed to be accessible and handy to suit their lifestyle. Based on their valued input, we added tall pull-out pantry units and cabinets with “hidden” drawers. Storage was strategically positioned for easy drop off and pick up as our clients came and went. Dark-stained cherry cabinets and light quartz countertops provided the sharp contemporary contrast favored by our homeowners. After much collaboration, discussion, and careful planning, they are enjoying their remodeled home and kitchen where we know they will create lasting memories in their lakeside retirement retreat.

From the moment this Northeast Minneapolis homeowner called on LiLu to transform her master suite, the design team knew a sense of artistry needed to be applied throughout the entire space. The age of the pieces in the client’s diverse collection of keepsakes lent intrigue and provided a creative challenge LiLu loves to embrace. Carefully balancing finishes, patterns, textures, and colors in the new master suite, LiLu collaborated to create interesting focal points where the eye could rest. The result is an inspired respite that strikes a visionary balance between modern and vintage.

“This was our second project working with Reico. The overall process is overwhelming given the infinite layout options and design combinations so having the experienced team at Reico listen to our vision and put it on paper was invaluable,” said the client. “They considered our budget and thoughtfully allocated the dollars.”
“The team at Reico never balked if we requested a quote in a different product line or a tweak to the layout. The communication was prompt, professional and easy to understand. And of course, the finished product came together beautifully – better than we could have ever imagined! Katherine and Angel at the Annapolis location were our primary contacts and we can’t thank them enough for all of their hard work and care they put into our project.”

This contemporary vacation home in Punta Gorda, Florida is the latest Art Dallas residential collaboration. Combining the owner’s artwork, their rock and roll photograph collection and new art, we were able to create a package of artwork that kept the project on budget and ready in just 3 weeks. Our in-house welding department created metal furniture to work with the artwork and picture framing package. We printed a large 96 wide by 48 high direct to metal print for the living room, framed the owner’s art and selected additional artwork to complete an art package with the look and feel the owners wanted.
The Art Dallas consulting team took great care to create a visually appealing, livable, and workable space. The consulting team started with an open line of communication and kept the client involved in every step of the streamlined creative process!
We love the vibe of this open floor plan space and are so grateful we could #makeitartful!
