Every client's Dream Bathroom is different. For these clients, a dedicated makeup area with tailored storage was at the top of their wish-list. Designed especially for the way they live and move throughout their space, each cabinet was well thought-out and planned with the clients’ exact needs and ease-of-use in mind. By enlarging the shower, removing the unused bathtub, and installing a large makeup area, the clients are able to make better use of their space. Arlene assisted the clients with their material selections, including countertops, tiles, lighting, plumbing fixtures, colors, and cabinet design. Arlene also met with the cabinet company and the contractors, ensuring precise designs and quality craftsmanship. Because my clients wanted their kitchen to be a serene experience, we kept the color palette monochromatic and simple. A gray-wash with a brown undertone was selected for new custom cabinets, pairing perfectly with the darker gray Silestone Iron Ore quartz countertops. To add visual interest and texture to this space, a glass and stone mosaic was selected for the small backsplash area. Arlene Ladegaard of Design Connection Inc. had already completed many projects in the client’s homes over the years and was excited for the challenge of designing a wine cellar in the unfinished basement. Wine Cellars come in many forms and styles. Our client’s had studied different styles of designs for many years as well as collecting over 1200 bottles of wine in all shapes and sizes. After living in their new Leawood home for a few years it was time to address an update on the lower level and design and build a wine cellar that was perfect for their use.

Request Free Quote This amazing estate project has so many features it is quite difficult to list all of them. Set on 150 Acres, this sprawling project features an Indoor Oval Pool that connects to an outdoor swimming pool with a 65'0" lap lane. The pools are connected by a moveable swimming pool door that actuates with the turn of a key. The indoor pool house also features an indoor spa and baby pool, and is crowned at one end by a custom Oyster Shell. The Indoor sauna is connected to both main pool sections, and is accessible from the outdoor pool underneath the swim-up grotto and waterfall.
