Reinforcing the design of this space is a round table with updated casual wing chairs. The perfect spot a for a cup of coffee or glass of wine. This warm, comfortable family room makes its statement with shades of grey, warm tan and taupe. Still in line with the rest of the main level this area is designed with an new set of elements that defines it as its own space. Custom shirred tab-top drapery panels with are mixed with coordinating cornices to compliment the architecture of the lovely home. The beautiful fireplace with raised hearth and molding is the centerpiece of this space. Gorgeous mercury glass lamps, custom pillows, and a mix of fabric, leather and wood create the warmth and balance in the area of the home.

Up the ante of your bachelor's retreat (and alternative rooms) aesthetic by adding a meticulously stylised cornice boards. The cornice boards in this house includes (2) different materials, an upholstered wood top molding and absolutely symmetrical handicraft on the curtains. Also, the (4) animal skin wing-backed chairs square measure superbly adorned with nail-heads that are carried throughout the design. This bachelor retreat features a stunning pendant and hand-tufted ottoman table. This house is warm and welcoming and perfect for intimate conversations amongst family and friends for years to come. Please take note - when using cornices, one should decide what proportion return is required. Return is the distance your material hangs away from the wall. Yes, this additionally affects the proportion. Usually, return is 3½ inches. However, larger or taller windows might need a deeper return to avoid the fabric from getting squashed against the wall. Shaped cornices over pleated draperies create gorgeous window treatments to genuinely enhance this living room. A vibrant red floral patterned fabric on the cornice and draperies sets the stage for the rooms’ essential Tuscan colored theme. Using a contrast lip cord for the cornice’s bottom edge greatly accentuates their subtle curves, further complimenting the rooms’ crown moulding. The draperies bring in a soft touch completing the window treatments altogether. Coordinating with the cornices and draperies are decorative throw pillows in stripe and diamond fabrics, finished with the cornices’ contrast lip cord creating additional accents. In combination with the window treatments and throw pillows this entire sitting area creates a warm welcoming sensation.
