The wheelchair accessible roll in shower maintains a 36" clear opening for maneuvering into the shower. A frameless door has not been installed here only the adjacent glass panel

This kitchen was designed to meet the needs of a quadriplegic client who could cook on the front two burners of her electric cooktop, reach into the drawer below for utensils, access the side-hinged oven on her left, or the spice pullout to the left of the oven. The drawers under the cooktop are for dishes and glassware and the racks on their left hold pots, pans and lids. The pull-out on the right hold dry goods and bottled condiments.

The new wheelchair accessible vanity provides both storage and safety. The plumbing pipes are concealed beyond the lift out panel to avoid scalding. The higher kick allows for the five foot turning radius inside the bathroom.

We remodeled this kitchen removing the old immobile island in the center which contained a stove and above it, a vent. We placed a new stove and built a new vent for it. In place of the old vent we put in lighting. We also built a mobile island that can be pushed when it is necessary for it to be moved out of the way of our disabled client.
