The coffee bar is opposite the whiskey bar, and opens to the existing dining space with its colorful furniture. A touch panel moves to the right to reveal the built-in coffee maker.

A farmhouse coastal styled home located in the charming neighborhood of Pflugerville. We merged our client's love of the beach with rustic elements which represent their Texas lifestyle. The result is a laid-back interior adorned with distressed woods, light sea blues, and beach-themed decor. We kept the furnishings tailored and contemporary with some heavier case goods- showcasing a touch of traditional. Our design even includes a separate hangout space for the teenagers and a cozy media for everyone to enjoy! The overall design is chic yet welcoming, perfect for this energetic young family. This was a full renovation of a 1920’s home sitting on a five acre lot. This is a beautiful and stately stone home whose interior was a victim of poorly thought-out, dated renovations and a sectioned off apartment taking up a quarter of the home. We changed the layout completely reclaimed the apartment and garage to make this space work for a growing family. We brought back style, elegance and era appropriate details to the main living spaces. Custom cabinetry, amazing carpentry details, reclaimed and natural materials and fixtures all work in unison to make this home complete. Our energetic, fun and positive clients lived through this amazing transformation like pros. The process was collaborative, fun, and organic.

A great kitchen addition to a classic Acorn house, tranquil interiors and open floor plan allow for free-flowing access from room to room. The exterior continues the style of the home and incorporates an ipe deck in the front and a screen porch in the back. The kitchen's vaulted ceilings add dimension and drama to an already energetic layout. The two-sided fireplace and bar area separate the living room from the kitchen while adding warmth and a conversation destination. Upstairs, a subtle yet contemporary master bath is bright and serene.

This room is the Media Room in the 2016 Junior League Shophouse. This space is intended for a family meeting space where a multi generation family could gather. The idea is that the kids could be playing video games while their grandparents are relaxing and reading the paper by the fire and their parents could be enjoying a cup of coffee while skimming their emails. A combination of finishes merge - hickory cabinetry for durability, white painted cabinetry for lightness, and dark painted cabinetry as the focal point - all creating a cohesive, energetic space. A variety of metal finishes and provide interest and contrast.

The owners of this beachfront retreat wanted a whole-home remodel. They were looking to revitalize their three-story vacation home with an exterior inspired by Japanese woodcraft and an interior the evokes Scandinavian simplicity. Now, the open kitchen and living room offer an energetic space for the family to congregate while enjoying a 360 degree coastal views. Built-in bunkbeds for six ensure there’s enough sleeping space for visitors, while the outdoor shower makes it easy for beachgoers to rinse off before hitting the deckside hot tub. It was a joy to help make this vision a reality!

This 1990's home, located in North Vancouver's Lynn Valley neighbourhood, had high ceilings and a great open plan layout but the decor was straight out of the 90's complete with sponge painted walls in dark earth tones. The owners, a young professional couple, enlisted our help to take it from dated and dreary to modern and bright. We started by removing details like chair rails and crown mouldings, that did not suit the modern architectural lines of the home. We replaced the heavily worn wood floors with a new high end, light coloured, wood-look laminate that will withstand the wear and tear from their two energetic golden retrievers. Since the main living space is completely open plan it was important that we work with simple consistent finishes for a clean modern look. The all white kitchen features flat doors with minimal hardware and a solid surface marble-look countertop and backsplash. We modernized all of the lighting and updated the bathrooms and master bedroom as well. The only departure from our clean modern scheme is found in the dressing room where the client was looking for a more dressed up feminine feel but we kept a thread of grey consistent even in this more vivid colour scheme. This transformation, featuring the clients' gorgeous original artwork and new custom designed furnishings is admittedly one of our favourite projects to date!

Contemporary, formal dining room with built-in cabinetry allows for simple family meals, or more formal gatherings. Open floor plan connects this space with the living room and kitchen to create an energetic atmosphere when preparing meals and hosting.

The entire fourth floor owner’s suite is a sight to behold, with tons of natural light. The expansive suite includes two walk-in closets, huge wallpapered walls, a large contemporary bath and walk in spa style shower. Throughout the home, Henck outfitted custom window treatments, oversized furniture, rustic light fixtures and blended the contemporary design aesthetic with a young, energetic approach for the modern interior design. It was important to create a modern home that still feels cozy and relaxed for the young couple to entertain in.

The walls of the living room were painted in a pale and cool cornflower blue to contrast the warmth of the brown painted foyer, and compliment to tawny coloration of the Stark area rug, which provides an energetic dose of pattern, much like tile, into an otherwise quietly elegant space. The intention was to create a welcoming space that is elegant, ethereal and highly personal. The sofa is custom is a Cristopher Wothland custom design.
