Intentionally carrying an air of moodiness, this Lake Elmo, MN owner’s suite bedroom is exceptionally balanced with luxurious detail. The design captures the essence of a dream boutique hotel longed for by our homeowners. The room is dramatic, with touches of gold lighting sparkling against a deep Urbane Bronze paint, which finishes the incredible double-layer wainscotting trim on opposing ends of the room, as well as the tray ceiling – spectacular! A sand-toned drapery flows across the entire wall of windows, softening the space and perfectly complementing the dark tones in the room. The rear lanai was updated to include a custom outdoor kitchen, with granite countertops, encaustic tile backsplash, stainless steel grill & hood, mini fridge, undermount sink, and stainless steel storage doors. The lanai has ample room for dining and lounging seating areas and opens onto the open air pool and back yard. Perfect for Game Day entertaining by the pool.

With enormous rectangular beams and round log posts, the Spanish Peaks House is a spectacular study in contrasts. Even the exterior—with horizontal log slab siding and vertical wood paneling—mixes textures and styles beautifully. An outdoor rock fireplace, built-in stone grill and ample seating enable the owners to make the most of the mountain-top setting. Inside, the owners relied on Blue Ribbon Builders to capture the natural feel of the home’s surroundings. A massive boulder makes up the hearth in the great room, and provides ideal fireside seating. A custom-made stone replica of Lone Peak is the backsplash in a distinctive powder room; and a giant slab of granite adds the finishing touch to the home’s enviable wood, tile and granite kitchen.
