Welcome to our latest project where we transformed a home in the 33756 area with a focus on both aesthetic beauty and functional upgrades. In this exciting venture, we handled a range of tasks from general contracting and home additions to custom bathroom designs and interior ideas.
In Clearwater, FL, we created a stunning custom bathroom featuring dark brown mosaic tiles, a sleek bathroom cabinet, a stylish bathroom sink and tap, and a luxurious custom shower kit. The project also included the installation of a beautiful wall mirror and a wall-mounted acrylic photo frame, adding personal touches to the space.
We also addressed essential aspects of the home with a new AC duct system and tile flooring, ensuring both comfort and durability. In Tampa, we carefully selected and installed window blinds and shutters for optimal light control and privacy.
Jon Cancellino led the project, bringing expertise and a keen eye for detail to every element, including the design of a functional roof shower and a modern wall frame. The result is a cohesive and elegant update to this home, showcasing how thoughtful design and skilled craftsmanship can enhance both form and function.

We loved this project! The transformation was incredible. Our client came to us asking for a master bedroom that created a space for them to retreat to at the end of a very busy day. They moved into this beautiful estate overlooking a Connecticut vineyard that yearned for a design to compliment the architecture of the home, yet personalize the transitional taste of this young couple. We wanted to bring them elements that included clean lines with some updated tradition. Gray has been the new neutral in design lately but to set it aside from the typical use of this hue, a favorite by many today, we added a touch of gold for warmth and elegance. The client's desire for a place to read and relax allowed for a seating area where they can transition to a doorway that leads them out to a beautiful stone veranda. We are excited as they are able to enjoy the start of a beautiful home redesign with a space that starts and ends their day in understated luxury.

This three home project in Seattle was a creative challenge we were excited to tackle. The lot sizes were long and narrow, so we decided to create a compact contemporary space. Our design team chose light solid surface elements and a dark flooring for a warmer mix.

Gutting and renovating this 1921 home near DC was a challenge, but we couldn't be more excited about the final product! With serious structural issues and an abundance of water underneath the foundation (or lack thereof), we had to add footers and waterproofing to ensure this beauty stood the test of time. We decided to honor the home's historical elements and existing footprints to match the surroundings, while keeping the exterior facade intact. Bringing this home back to life was truly an unforgettable experience!

Our Louisville clients were proud new home owners who were excited to move into their home and start personalizing! We created a transitional design for their home that incorporates modern touches and classic lines to tie the spaces together. Our primary focus was to update the home and keep things feeling clean and fresh while making it comfortable for everyone in the family. We started by painting every room in their home, replacing all of their interior doors, and updating all of their light fixtures. One of the most transformative elements was the updated flooring throughout the home. We removed the oak floors and replaced them with a wide plank solid hickory which removed the yellow undertones and gave them a clean backdrop for the rest of the design. The clients really wanted to freshen up their kitchen and incorporate new appliances without starting from scratch, so we rearranged a few of their existing cabinets to make room for their new stove and range hood. We also lowered the original bar-height counter to make the kitchen feel more open to their family room. We then painted all of their cabinets a crisp white, replaced the crown molding, updated the hardware, replaced their counter top with a marble look quartz, and used a soft green mosaic tile on their backsplash. This home has a large family room, and the original fireplace was far too small and seemed to disappear under the 20 foot ceilings. So we removed the old square fireplace, replacing it with a linear gas fireplace and a floor-to-ceiling tiled surround with a custom wood mantle. This created a real focal point and helped to anchor the space. We then brought in a cozy blue sectional and a soft new rug to make this the perfect place for a family movie night. The clients have a real love of music, and wanted to create a space where they could lay back and enjoy their vinyls. So in their family room we created a custom stereo wall with floating cabinets and shelves to house all of their audio equipment and showcase a few of their favorites. We then furnished the room with clean and classically inspired pieces to tie in with the aesthetics in the rest of the home.

To deal with the pain and excitement of their kids leaving the house for college, these empty nesters wanted to transform their lawn—once home to swing sets and games of catch—into a peaceful retreat. She was dead-set on a water feature, he really wanted a fire pit, and their dogs (which had moved up in rank since the kids were gone) needed a nice patch of grass to play on. The couple’s tastes had changed in the 20 years since they’d bought the Spanish- style bungalow, and they wanted a garden with a more contemporary feeling. Looking to the history of Spanish landscape design, we were able tweak traditional layouts and elements to create a more contemporary garden that fit the needs of all the inhabitants of the home—human and canine alike.

Located in a private residence in Rochester, NY; the owners commissioned this piece to bring personal interests to the design of their home in a unique colorful way. Their love of music, nature and various cultures informed the foundation the design using bold color and abstracted patterns to enhance the experience of the couple's passions in their home environment.
The front entry was replaced with a wider side light to one side designed to be in harmony with the contemporary architecture. The new glass configuration accentuates the space by providing a broad palette for the artwork to breath.
This project utilizes a new technique most known in Germany called Laminated Glass, offering a more contemporary aesthetic to the traditional stained glass application. This technique has been used on large glass facades of buildings, but it can also be used to create windows, doors, shower doors, railings, table tops, wall treatments and large scale sculptures covering partial or whole areas for interior and exterior applications.

Transforming your kitchen into a modern and inviting space can be an exciting journey, especially with the stunning choices you've made. The rich, dark brown stain on the cabinetry sets a sophisticated tone, grounding the room with warmth and elegance. Complementing this, the white and gray granite countertops offer a striking contrast, adding depth and a touch of luxury while providing a durable and functional workspace.
The satin nickel hardware seamlessly blends with the overall design, adding a subtle sheen that enhances the contemporary feel without overwhelming the space. This choice reflects a keen eye for detail, ensuring that every element works harmoniously together. The gray wood-look tile flooring not only adds texture and visual interest but also ties the entire color palette together, creating a cohesive and stylish foundation for your kitchen.
Adding pops of yellow through furnishings is a brilliant move, infusing the space with energy and a cheerful vibe. This customer introduced this burst of color through bar stools and kitchen towels which instantly lifts the ambiance and adding a personalized touch. Your new kitchen is not just a place to cook but a delightful haven where style meets functionality, making it a true centerpiece of your home.

We are extremely excited to present this Rustic Hickory in a black glaze matte from Bertch. The rustic feel of the cabinets fit amazingly well in this older farm home.
It was this homeowner's lucky day as soon after install, the Formica laminate tops in Slate Sequoia were discontinued. They compliment the tones of the cabinets better than anything we could imagine.
Stainless steel appliances are in good company with the integral Karran 60/40 bowl sink. This all goes well with the bronze tones in the rest of the metal elements of the kitchen.
Gracefully holding all of this up is Mannington Adura Max Apex Hilltop luxury vinyl plants in Cliffside. The installers worked with the customer to run the planks in a perpendicular pattern where two rooms came together.

This is a view from the dining room to the kitchen and living room.
DTSH Interiors brought in furniture for the eat in kitchen, dining, and living room as well as added Belgian Linen window treatments.
The exterior of the home received a major facelift and transformation, including new light fixtures, updated roof and facia, updated wood beams, wood door, wood ceiling and stone added to the entrance and more. This took the home from a dated look to an updated and fresh "modern farmhouse" aesthetic.
The kitchen layout remained intact, while appliances, fixtures, hardware, countertops and backsplashes were upgraded . All three bathrooms in the house were also renovated, original hardwood floors were refinished and carpet and tile flooring throughout replaced. Additionally, the dated built-in brick fireplace on the ground floor game room was redesigned. The new fireplace design would now directly tie in with the modern farmhouse style of the exterior, complete with the addition of a large wooden mantle.
DTSH Interiors formulated a plan for six rooms; the living room, dining room, master bedroom, two children's bedrooms and ground floor game room, with the inclusion of the complete fireplace re-design.
The interior also received major upgrades during the whole-house renovation. All of the walls and ceilings were resurfaced, the windows, doors and all interior trim was re-done.
The end result was a giant leap forward for this family; in design, style and functionality. The home felt completely new and refreshed, and once fully furnished, all elements of the renovation came together seamlessly and seemed to make all of the renovations shine.
During the "big reveal" moment, the day the family finally returned home for their summer away, it was difficult for me to decide who was more excited, the adults or the kids!
The home owners kept saying, with a look of delighted disbelief "I can't believe this is our house!"
As a designer, I absolutely loved this project, because it shows the potential of an average, older Pittsburgh area home, and how it can become a well designed and updated space.
It was rewarding to be part of a project which resulted in creating an elegant and serene living space the family loves coming home to everyday, while the exterior of the home became a standout gem in the neighborhood.

The Nakamoto siding was selected specifically for the way it plays into that aesthetic. The horizontal shou sugi ban cedar provided the perfect weathered, timeless effect the team wanted. The homeowner was particularly excited about the siding’s slightly blue tint and how it plays off the water, and the pinkish hints throughout the wood grain were a perfect compliment to the color scheme of the home. The home is exposed to a lot of elements and insects on the water, so the durability of the siding was also key in their decision.

This Denver home was given a complete renovation update. We wanted to stay true to the beautiful architecture yet give it a more modern feel. We opened up the floor plan, merging the living room, dining room, and kitchen into one great room. These three spaces still feel distinguished and intimate but are within a more functional floor plan.
White stone accent walls, natural hardwood floors, updated contemporary lighting, and an exciting teal front door! With these elements we were able to create a look leaning towards traditional but that gives the space a touch of today's trends.

Once again, we have had the pleasure of working with this outstanding builder on another project. Aaron Mauk not only designed but supplied and installed all the cabinetry in this new home which definitely utilizes an "open" design concept throughout. Unique lighting elements are found in every room which keeps every space fun and exciting. The kitchen uses grey tones to create a cool, clean environment that showcases the breathtaking ceilings. Most of the cabinetry in the house is shown in Marsh’s “Graphite” stain on maple wood, which is a beautiful way of tying the whole home together. This home is not only beautiful, but it is functional as well. The pull down closet rods found in the laundry room extend over the washer and dryer so it can be used when needed, but easily stored out of the way when not in use.
