This project involved the design of a gunite swimming pool, adjacent stone patio & ornamental plantings. The clients desired a formal pool area that would reflect the character of their home. The project posed many challenges as the pool design not only had to fit into the existing landscape but also within numerous site & wetland setbacks. The design uses dimensionally patterned bluestone for the patio & coping to surround the 18' x 38' gunite swimming pool. An array of colorful planting envelop the surrounding landscape, cascading in washes of purple, white & green. Though the pool area is only going to be used during the warm summer months the planting plan was created such that there are peaks of interest through the entire space, all year long. The pool itself was designed with a state of the art filtration system, which uses salt to treat the pool water, rather than harsh chemicals. The outdoor space creates an elegant retreat in the client’s backyard that resembles a Nantucket oasis.

This kitchen features a variety of colours and textures into one space to create an ultra modern look. High-gloss white cabinetry is paired with deep espresso for the ultimate contrast. Aluminum framed frosted glass lift-up doors and the stainless steel farm sink add a cool contrast to the warm teak butcher block at the end of the island. The painted glass backsplash was custom matched to the red signature Wolf range knobs for a focal point in the space.
All cabinetry and quartz countertops were designed and installed by Casey's Creative Kitchens and Casey's Granite and Quartz Division.

Wellness doesn't have to mean going somewhere special. At Arden Springdale, it's part of the experience of coming home.
Homeowners can choose from features such as invigorating cold plunges and relaxing saunas, enjoying the colorful raised garden beds, and enhanced air and water filtration systems. These details are designed to support a healthier, more balanced lifestyle without having to leave home to find it.
It's a thoughtful approach to modern homeownership: creating spaces that are more than simply beautiful, they support the way you want to live.

This Fish Pond Rebuild project consisted of removal of an existing pond. All rock, liner, and pond implements were removed. We were able to salvage the pond skimmer and some of the rock for reuse. All other implements were replaced and upgraded with current Aquascape pond products. The newly installed pond is a complete Aquascape ecosystem system. In place of the biofalls we constructed a wetland filtration system. The pond was roughly excavated to 11”x 16′ at its largest and has a wetland and waterfall area at the top. The wetland area and pond were outfitted with aquatic plants. The aquatic plants will help to further filter that water in the wetland area as well as the pond. After the new pond was installed we touched up the surrounding landscape and re-seeded the disturbed areas or lawn. This Project was installed in Lancaster, PA.

This pool just screams outdoor fun! Pool Fountains are such a valuable asset, they not only look cool but they also add some benefits. Pool Fountains cool the water through aeration. When the pool water is sprayed into the air, oxygen is introduced to all the tiny droplets. This cools them down. When they fall back into the pool, they bring that cooler temperature with them. Run a fountain long enough, and you can see a drop in temperature from 2 to 4 degrees. You know pool circulation is essential to distributing water chemicals, moving pool water through the filtration system, and preventing yucky things from growing in stagnant water. You may already suspect this from personal experience. But it’s documented that listening to water sounds has a stress-reducing effect for many people. Swimming is already one way to lower stress. Add a fountain to your pool, and increase that benefit even more. Pool fountains create some of that fun, and can possibly even keep a rainbow around for a little longer than one splash could. They’re just pretty. Pool fountains you install may not be masterpiece sculptures, but a fanned water spray is just as beautiful to watch.

A view of just a portion of the etched glass panels that extend across the end of the home. Going from the home's west to east side walls, the panels act as sliding "doors" that open onto the elevator; the powder room; a cabinet that houses serving pieces, dining linens and a charging station for personal electronic devices; the laundry room; and the kitchen pantry. Each panel is lit from the top down with LED lighting. The curving designs etched in the panels are repeated throughout the home: in the landscape and paving stones design, in the lobby and stairs, and in the stained concrete flooring.
