The modern play room features a calming tree mural background juxtaposed with vibrant wall decor and a beanbag chair.. Plenty of closed and open toy storage, a chalkboard wall, and large craft table foster creativity and provide function. Carpet tiles for easy clean up with tots and a sleeper chair allow for more guests to stay. The guest room design is sultry and decadent with golds, blacks, and luxurious velvets in the chair and turkish ikat pillows. A large chest and murphy bed, along with a deco style media cabinet plus TV, provide comfortable amenities for guests despite the long narrow space. The glam feel provides the perfect adult hang out for movie night and gaming. Tibetan fur ottomans extend seating as needed.

Gone are the days of "throw-away" furniture when it comes to the kids. Creating custom bedrooms with a timeless feel and function for this generation is one of our specialties. The Europly base material has a clean, modern, no-frills vibe and expresses the layered multi-ply edge detail to showcase a bespoke, gender-neutral bedroom solution. It is easily accessorized to the personal taste and whims of the occupant as they evolve through the years. Possibilities are endless, clever storage solutions abound, craftsmanship and overall composition is key. This room used to be share by all 3 kids, and as part of this remodel it became obvious that is was time to give each of them their own space. For this budding, teenage artist, we actually made the original room smaller believe it or not. We carved out part of the room by pushing an existing wall in about three feet in order to add a much needed office niche on the hallway side, all without sacrificing function on the bedroom side. The clever built-in includes a variety of storage solutions, desk space that also serves as a bedside table, open shelving, and a trundle bed neatly tucked below. The wall mural adds additional personality to the space, and can easily be changed out over time as desired and without wall damage.

A 1990’s Flower Mound home underwent a significant transformation with the master bathroom being the star of the show. We traded the heavy texture, golds and jewel tones for a sleek and slightly edgy look. Additionally, doors and walls were rearranged to maximize functionality and privacy where needed. It’s light and bright and super slick. The customer’s desired maintenance free marble look was achieved via porcelain tile and is accented with smoky glass. This light and bright bathroom is now their pride and joy!

This project was a part of the 2017 Decorators' Showhouse in Columbus, Ohio. Twelve designers each created a room within the Columbus Museum of Art, making this the first showhouse to take place within a museum. Each designer was allowed to use a piece of artwork from the museum's collection in their space. The artwork, California Landscape by Stanton Macdonald-Wright, sets this tone. His modern abstract, devoid of illustration uses blocks of color to create space and form. This idea of geometric abstracts is repeated throughout the design of the room. Interesting shapes that can be manipulated with eye or hand are very fitting for a nursery. This is a space where a child can dream and play, grow and learn, and also rest. This eclectic children's bedroom in a Carmel Valley home is a playful mix of modern and traditional elements.
