The decorative artisan team of AH & Co. from Montclair, NJ. faux finish a custom wall unit with cream colored base coat and antique walnut brown highlighting in the detailing. This NoHo apartment, in a landmarked circa 1870 building designed by Stephen Decatur Hatch and converted to lofts in 1987, had been interestingly renovated by a rock musician before being purchased by a young hedge fund manager and his gallery director girlfriend. Naturally, the couple brought to the project their collection of painting, photography and sculpture, mostly by young emerging artists. Axis Mundi accommodated these pieces within a neutral palette accented with occasional flashes of bright color that referenced the various artworks. Major furniture pieces – a sectional in the library, a 12-foot-long dining table–along with a rich blend of textures such as leather, linen, fur and warm woods, helped bring the sprawling dimensions of the loft down to human scale.

The goal of this landscape design and build project was to create a backyard patio that incorporated brick pavers and irregular bluestone. The patio also features a hidden hatch that reveals the septic tank beneath. Irregular and oversized bluestone pavers set in the lawn link the side yard to the rear hot tub area. A traditional New England landscape palette was selected to bloom year round and provide color throughout the seasons. Designed and built by Skyline Landscapes, LLC.

Classic themed black wallpaper with gold patterns mixed with modern lighting was used to enhance the elegant interior vibe & dark wooden furnishings were placed to hold complimentary hot tea, spring water, and fresh towels. PC: Robert Hatch

This bright and energetic home office is designed to suit a large work surface and various storage needs. The custom white cabinetry encompasses open shelving, doors, drawers, and even wine storage! The slight sheen of the millwork is paired with polished brass hardware to elevate the glamorous aesthetic. Neutral cross-hatching wallpaper defines the space and adds visual interest to the design.

This Kitchen is on the north side of the home and lack a lot of natural light. The home was originally all oak cabinets and millwork and we wanted to bright and lighten up the central kitchen location while working with the rest of the stain that would remain in the home. This kitchen now features cabinets to the ceiling, a stainless hood (microwave moved and hidden), more organization within the cabinets and brighter material selections. We closed in a "window" to the formal dining room allowing us to make more of a feature at the kitchen sink.

This beautiful contemporary bathroom is one of our most recent and favorite projects.
Every aspect of this bathroom screams modern luxury. From the non-fogging LED mirror to the floating vanity.
One of the most eye catching aspects of this bathroom are the full wall tilings throughout the space. The tilings have a soft peachy tint that gives the room warmth yet keeping the “clean” aesthetic.
The floor tiling has a cross hatch patterning, adding texture throughout the bathroom; which continues into the walk-in shower.
The walk-in shower has a substantial amount of movement space with a shower niche for storage. The shower also has two shower heads: the rain head, and classic head.
