Traditional bathroom remodeling. We start with understanding our couple needs. There is no longer a reason to hold a tub along with a shower. Instead, we open up space and created a double standing shower. We made new storage niches and vanities. The walls are covered with big bright tiles in order to keep it simple to maintain and to add another aspect of splendor to the room.

Hockessin Delaware Bathroom remodel. The clients original Master bathroom was outdated in style and function. We started by removing a soaking tub sunken into the floor; that was the first thing to go. With the tub gone and relocating the toilet; we redesigned the bath with a larger shower and double vanity. The toilet is now hidden by a half wall with shelving storage on the toilet side, capped with granite and a sleek piece of textured glass. The new 6’ long x 4’ wide shower was tiled cleanly with a mosaic look on the shower head wall, built in niche, bench and grab bar. The new vanity designed in Fabuwood cabinetry in the Galaxy Horizon finish added great storage and plenty of countertop space. Now this bathroom fits the client’s needs and matches there style.

This project started as a tiny outdated bathroom and laundry room combination that needed a redesigned floor plan. The client's wish list was to follow the style of our previous remodels along with creating a wheel chair accessible space that doesn't feel ADA. I believe we have accomplished this with a combination of mosaic vertical strips of beautiful serene tile, clean modern chrome plumbing fixtures and a organically soothing wall color.

It's all in the details....The focus of any bedroom starts with the bed, this king bed is outfitted with a full motion memory foam mattress that raises both head or feet and employs in mattress massage for maximum relaxation. Covered in a gorgeous custom silver silk coverlet and shams with soft white fur throws and pillows, the bed is inviting, and stress relief is immediate.

I had an amazing opportunity to partner with Taylor Burke Home, One Kings Lane and Cotton and Quill for the “Style It Challenge” using the Taylor Burke Home X-bench. The timing was perfect; we just finished our master bedroom addition and my closet needed to be amazing. My head started spinning. I saw brass, black walls, shelves, more brass and I needed a pop of color - a pink velvet bench. We incorporated plumbing pipes, glass shelving units, Taylor Burke Home pendant, Hygge & West wallpaper and a DIY pegboard to make a glamorous, high-end dressing room.

These homeowners are getting married this summer and wanted to make their new home their own starting with the kitchen. They have classy traditional taste and hit the nail on the head with their selections. They went with the Bridgewood American Value Hawthorne mitered cherry door with a rich chestnut stain and then built on that with a gorgeous granite-look HD laminate countertop in the Café Azul color. They topped it all off with a travertine tile backsplash with a mosaic accent strip that tied many of the tones of the space together.

This bathroom started out as a shower with a tub next to it. We removed both the shower and the tub and turned the space into a roomy walk-in shower. The control in the entrance of the shower allows the owner to select temperature and wash his feet after a day in the yard without getting totally into the shower. Once IN the shower, you can choose to use the wall or rain shower head, or both! Lots of room for soap and shampoo in the roomy niche!
