This waterfront custom home in Delta was designed to give a bright open feel and take advantage of the beautiful water views. A light, bright almost beachy feel was brought into the space by use of bright whites, with hints of natural greys and neutrals. Pops of colour were used on furniture pieces. Complete with chef’s kitchen and large patio doors out to the stamped concrete back patio, this home was built for entertaining. Large gatherings can easily flow out onto the patio which includes a hot tub, gas fire pit and low maintenance artificial turf. The master ensuite boasts a large walk in shower, spacious dark wood double vanity and the bedroom with an oversized window, has a fantastic view of the ocean. Conrad Kitchen Bath and Remodeling designed a kitchen with a coastal flare. It is neutral with just a hint of the coast. Dark cabinets (Breakwater) on bottom and lighter cabinets (Coastal) on top. The diagonal wood look tile (actually porcelain) give depth to the overall feel.

Complete Kitchen Remodel by Hatfield Builders, Chad Hatfield CR, CKBR, NARI and Interior Design by Lindy Jo Crutchfield, Allied ASID. Hatfield Builders gutted and scraped the old kitchen back to the studs, installed new materials, fixtures, appliances and added a fresh coat of paint. Cabinetry is a prefinished, inset, shaker design from Canyon Creek Cabinet Company, which is run to the top of the 10' ceiling. Mocha Ceasarstone runs the perimeter of the Kitchen while a beautiful granite marbled with grays, caramels, whites and creams is the centerpiece of the room. Sophisticated and clean 12x24 tiles run on the floor in a brick pattern, while 3x6 subway tiles set off the dark perimeter countertops. A lantern-style, cream mosaic washed with a hint of milk chocolate and green set off the gorgeous Wolf range. This Kitchen is truly one to behold.

The office cabinetry and millwork needed a facelift. DDG painted it a sophisticated navy blue. A textured, woven rug with hints of blue warms up the space. The shelves were decorated with personal photos and collectables mixed with fun, interesting accents. A modern brass chandelier adds a playful touch to the space.

Our Long Island studio designed this stunning home with bright neutrals and classic pops to create a warm, welcoming home with modern amenities. In the kitchen, we chose a blue and white theme and added leather high chairs to give it a classy appeal. Sleek pendants add a hint of elegance. In the dining room, comfortable chairs with chequered upholstery create a statement. We added a touch of drama by painting the ceiling a deep aubergine. AJI also added a sitting space with a comfortable couch and chairs to bridge the kitchen and the main living space. The family room was designed to create maximum space for get-togethers with a comfy sectional and stylish swivel chairs. The unique wall decor creates interesting pops of color. In the master suite upstairs, we added walk-in closets and a twelve-foot-long window seat. The exquisite en-suite bathroom features a stunning freestanding tub for relaxing after a long day.

Kitchen update/redesign. The goal with this kitchen was to unite both rooms, visually heighten the ceilings and to make the room feel inviting, interesting and larger. We accomplished this by neutralizing the walls and ceilings in both rooms. The original soffits were reduced and pushed back to the cabinets, trimmed and painted to match the cabinets and new can lights were placed in the ceiling. The before photo of the kitchen shows a hint of what the old soffits looked like. They originally extended about a foot beyond and in front of the cabinets. The original soffits were housing can lights. Because they lights were physically lower than the ceiling, the ceiling height felt right on top of you. By pushing back the soffits and installing the lights into the ceiling the room now feels much bigger and taller. We added visual weight and interest to the eat-in area and balanced both rooms. The beautiful outdoors is now framed with new sliding doors which replaced the bay window in the before shot. Using a dark color to frame the outside of the sliding doors lengthens the room and draws interest and visual weight to the eat-in side of the Kitchen. Awarded by the Classical institute of art and architecture , the linnean house has a restrained and simple elevation of doors and windows. Nestled in the Forest Hills neighborhood of Washington, D.C., the Linnean House is classical in both plan and elevation throughout its award-winning house plans. The main mass, comprising of the most formal and public spaces, is a spatial triptych along a symmetrical main axis. Inside the luxury home, the limestone façade, simple but well-proportioned with classical elements, extends itself into both the entry portico and main foyer with consistent proportions and materiality. This introduction allows the flanking living and dining rooms to be perceived as separate pavilions, each equipped with eight equal-proportioned French doors symmetrical of the main axis. Beyond the classical spaces are two wings which lead to the master suite and a kitchen/family space, respectively. Both of which are situated to queue from the French door axis, a focal feature in the repeatedly published home design. At the entry foyer, the stark stone luxury architecture is warmed by two symmetrical wood armoire-like freestanding sculptural objects, a persistent theme throughout the luxury house. In the kitchen, for instance, stand four similar wood armoire objects at opposite corners that act as columns and help give this space a sense of boundary and enclosure. The master bath vanity, in similar fashion, is introduced as a central free-standing form anchoring itself as a notable presence in the space. Lastly, the wine room is designed as a series of free-standing heavy wood cavity walls spanned only by a hint of glass.

Compact powder room off kitchen includes extra storage for brooms and cleaners - Our clients wanted to remodel their kitchen so that the prep, cooking, clean up and dining areas would blend well and not have too much of a kitchen feel. They wanted a sophisticated look with some classic details and a few contemporary flairs. The result was a reorganized layout (and remodel of the adjacent powder room) that maintained all the beautiful sunlight from their deck windows, but create two separate but complimentary areas for cooking and dining. The refrigerator and pantry are housed in a furniture-like unit creating a hutch-like cabinet that belies its interior with classic styling. Two sinks allow both cooks in the family to work simultaneously. Some glass-fronted cabinets keep the sink wall light and attractive. The homeowner wanted to maintain the industrial feel by using Scavolini textured gray melamine cabinet lowers with stainless steel pulls, and titanium gray glossy laminate uppers with aluminum banding. The black granite countertops have a honed finish, and the floor tile is also textured. The retro gray and red mosaic backsplash is the only real color in the space adding texture and a slight automotive feel. Black Bertoia wire bar stools are another dark accent.
