Rocky Mountain faucet, Ann Sacks tile. Wide plank oak floor by Apex Wood Floors. Perimeter countertops are limestone. Sub Zero 48” built in refrigerator and Wolf 48” range. Plumbing supply and waste pipes are sleeved with bronze pipes to match Rocky Mountain faucet finish. Hammered Zinc counter top and sink.

This cozy bedroom has the same beamed, vaulted ceiling as the central gathering area, but it is stained to impart a cozier feel. A sofa is placed at the foot of the bed and faces two plaid club chairs, which creates an inviting sitting area there. The fireplace in the bedroom is elevated for viewing from the bed, as well as from the kitchen, so when you look from the kitchen island into the master, you see the fabulous stonework and fire. Ulrich Designer: Julia Kleyman Photography by Peter Rymwid The design challenge in this kitchen was to combine sleek materials to make the space look modern – in fitting with the overall character of the home – and also to achieve a warm and inviting living space. Some special touches for the homeowners include the peninsula counter top that was dropped down to a more comfortable height for mixing and dough rolling. Above the peninsula a bean-shaped frosted glass snack counter sits on metal posts, creating an eating/snacking area. White porcelain tile with two chrome liners running around the perimeter create a clean backdrop for the focal point of the kitchen, a clear glass hood by Miele. A blue acrylic cabinetry finish gives the space a dash of color, while the cherry finish on the appliances side of the kitchen and on the sitting side of the peninsula makes the kitchen warm and inviting.

Jesse Young Property & Real Estate Photography - Starting with a loft residence that was originally a church, the home presented an architectural design challenge. The new construction was out of balance and sterile in comparison. The intent of the design was to honor and compliment the existing millwork, plaster walls, and large stained glass windows. Timeless furnishings, custom cabinetry, colorful accents, art and lighting provide the finishing touches, leaving the client thrilled with the results. This design is now worthy of its character.

But behind the door of this particular residence, glass and oak are paired to impart a warm contemporary aesthetic that better showcases the client’s collections of art by Andy Warhol, Arman, Robert Longo, Alex Katz and Lucio Fontana, and furniture by modernist icons Jean Prouvé, Charlotte Perriand and Roland Rainer. Axis Mundi gutted the genteel, compartmentalized (read: dark) inner scheme, blowing it wide open to impart a new loft-like interior architecture outfitted with an exposed oak-and-Caesarstone kitchen and plenty of integrated, clutter-concealing custom storage along many walls. The glass—sandblasted on Poliform doors and a main-floor bridge, then descending in transparent railings along a new oak staircase to a garden level—invite light in and encourage it to ricochet freely throughout. With a size that’s spacious but not too sprawling and a silhouette that’s formal but not too fussy, our Mallory sectional masters the art of flexibility. Its gently curved arms and back impart elegance, while neutral pillows and taupe upholstery instill simplicity. Highlighting this design’s modern side, our Mercer accent chair features a crisscross metal frame and tufted bonded leather cushions.

This photo was taken just outside our production shop. Sorry it is not a better photo, but it does help to show you the effect of Beveled Glass, and how much lighting can make a difference to the color and texture of glass. A nice design where we adjusted the size of the Beveled Glass Star Clusters to best fit the overall size of the cabinet openings... As we make all of our own Beveled Glass, this is something we can easily do for you as well. The two panels shown in these photos measured - 12" x 24-1/2". The small Ellipse Accents used Spectrum Glass - 152G - Ruby Red. The outside border features - Spectrum Glass - 319-02S - Pale Amber/White and the inside background glass used was - Spectrum Glass - 100G - Clear Granite. Once again we used our Dark Antique Lead Came to match the cabinet hardware.

This blue and white kitchen is the hub of the home for a busy young family. The white cabinets are broken up by glass fronts at the top. The dark granite and a fresh blue painted island add contrast, while the transitional pendant adds interest to the otherwise traditional space.
