About Us

Ana Cummings, of ANA Interiors is the only IDRC and DDA multiple national award-winning show home designer in the province of Alberta. She filmed two seasons as the Design Expert on CTV's Homes and Lifestyles Canada. Her work is internationally published and her studio offers full service interior design and decorating that specializes in original unable-to-leave spaces. Ana is also a Certified Aging In Place Specialist (CAPS) and works with clients in and outside of Canada. Ana is an expert in Luxury Condominiums, Penthouses, Manse & Estate Homes, Villas, Micro Condos, Hotel & Boutique Spaces. Niche use rooms such as Spa Baths, Kitchens, Yoga & Exercise, Bedrooms, Dining Rooms, Specialty Craft & Laundry Rooms. Integrating different styles, incorporating existing client furnishings, translating client visions into realities, and consistently delivering projects on time and budget are her strong suits. She is a master at statement walls, from custom wall-coverings and specialty finishes to commissioned artworks and galleries. From the simplest colour consultation to the grandest home or commercial redesign, Ana solves her client design challenges with unique, creative, stylish, budget and earth-friendly solutions. For over 18 years, Ana has designed and meticulously staged model homes for high profile Calgary developments; busy professionals on the move; and empty nesters wanting to update their home for increased resale value or because they want to stay there forever. Her best clients are those that embrace possibility, appreciate one-of-a-kind design, and make use of her vast network of superior trades and Canadian vendors. Ana is a graduate of Mount Royal University, Member of the Calgary Design Group (CDG), Interior Décor Resources Canada (IDRC), Interior Designers of Canada (IDC) and Decorators and Designers Association of Canada (DDA). Ana Cummings of "ANA Interiors" is truly exceptional! I recently completed a five-year renovation project on the beautiful Island of Sint Maarten, and Ana has been with me every step of the way. She and her team's arrival on the island for the final touches and furniture installation was nothing short of remarkable. They utilized their local contacts to source most of the furniture and fixtures, ensuring that everything was placed and installed in the most perfect locations. Ana's attention to detail and her unparalleled ability to blend pieces together to create the ideal picture are astonishing. Before the house even hit the market, it was bought by the very first person who looked at it, a testament to Ana's extraordinary talent. You know what they say, a picture is worth a thousand words, and the Sint Maarten Villa pictures on her website speak volumes. Ana surpassed my already high expectations by a mile. We have just finished our home renovation, and we had enlisted Ana’s help - we were overwhelmed with the multitude of decisions required on how to deal with a 27 year old home that needed some serious updating. She helped transform our tired and dated home into a showpiece! Ana, and her assistant, Christy, were able to understand our needs and wishes and were very willing to work within our budget to pull everything together. She was pleasant, open to suggestions, worked to deadline, resourceful and just a real delight to collaborate with. And really important to us was her ability to work well with our general contractor; problem solving and coming up with creative solutions. Ana has a great eye and inspired style - she knows how to create that “Wow” factor! We can’t wait to show off our new home. Hiring Ana was one of the best decisions we ever made. Truly.

Both my wife and myself are thrilled with the result. Ana has a great depth of knowledge, excellent supplier contacts and trades. From the first introductory meeting with Ana and Christy, right through to completion, I was extremely impressed with both of them. I was delighted throughout the discovery process, idea generation, proposed options and products and watching it all come together. Their professionalism combined with their ability to seamlessly communicate with me during the project was top shelf. When I came through the door on the final day, I walked around for 45 minutes and couldn't sit down - everything was so picture perfect! Thanks ANA Interiors! We had a family room that dated back to the 70s. Ana designed the whole room including a new fireplace and painting of our dark wood paneling. The room would now fit in any show home. I am excited every time I walk into the room. Wow! Ana and her design team were excellent to work with. I would highly recommend her.

We are about half way through a renovation in our 1958 house (kitchen, main bathroom and installation of a fireplace) which was very overdue but we were hesitant to begin based on a few bad past experiences. Ana and her team were recommended to us by another designer and we have been very happy with our experience so far. The designer we are working with directly (Susan) and the contractor (Sandro) have been excellent with their communication with us and keeping us focussed and on schedule (if not a little ahead of schedule). We will definitely be looking to work together with this team again in the future.
