The guest bedroom has to wear two hats, one as a sleeping space for visiting family and friends, and the other as an office and workspace for our client. A custom designed Murphy Bed, with integrated storage both above and on either side, was an obvious solution as it makes the space truly flexible and multipurpose. We integrated LED lighting to illuminate the piece, and created ample space for books and artwork, both in the open and closed position. The client's Penaat desk and yellow Penaat chair occupy a sunlit portion of the room next to the large windows overlooking the city, and a cowhide chair and ottoman for relaxing and reading complete the space.

Studioteka custom designed this white, minimalist kitchen with warm marble countertops and a matching backsplash. The sleek integrated finger pulls on the cabinets as well as the refrigerator and freezer were custom made to measure based on our client's actual grip. And a special feeding tray for a beloved feline friend completes the space!

The living room features a custom bookcase with display space for monographs and one special artwork, as well as closed storage below. The Le Corbusier couch and modern Dutch Penaat chairs are arranged on either side of one of the client's colorful rugs. The Eero Saarinen Tulip Table, Executive Chairs, and Studioteka's custom designed kitchen with sleek integrated finger pulls form a backdrop to the living space.
