This is an example of a traditional landscaping in Dallas.

This was one of those unfortunate projects no homeowner should have to experience. We had originally provided an estimate, but the homeowners decided to move forward with a lower-priced contractor. A few weeks later, we received an emotional call asking us to step in and help. The previous contractor had abandoned the project after receiving payment, leaving behind incomplete and severely compromised work. Unfortunately, the condition of the job made the repairs more difficult than they would have been from the beginning. We were happy to come in, correct the problems, and get the project back on track. In the end, we were able to turn a stressful situation into a successfully completed project and, most importantly, leave the homeowners feeling relieved and happy with the finished result.

Although it is difficult for Bobbie to commit to one favorite space in her home, perhaps it may be the ever-changing quality of the space throughout the day that is somewhat captivating. "I am constantly intrigued by the light in our home and how it changes over the seasons. There is an east facing clerestory window in our bedroom behind our bed. In the winter mornings, the rising sun shines through this window and casts shadows of tree leaves onto the wall above the fireplace at the foot of our bed. How much maintenance does outdoor lighting require? ? ? In order to prevent the lamps from overheating, it is necessary to often clean the leaves and debris on the lamps. At the same time, if a bulb burns out, it should be replaced immediately to avoid shortening the life of other bulbs due to voltage overload. For lamps located at high places or difficult to reach, it is best to ask professionals to maintain them.

This third bedroom was ostensibly a guest room but it also needed to function as a home office. With two low windows overlooking the front garden (which also made bed placement difficult) a custom mill work solution once again solved the problem. A horizontal surface runs across the entire front wall leaving room for two work areas. The wall hung drawers keep the look light but add much needed out-of-site storage for a few office supplies or for a guest to tuck a few things away.
