Xtreme Renovations just completed transforming a 1915 constructed Master Bathroom into a Modern Transformation for our clients in NW Harris County. The Master Bath had seen several updates throughout its 100 year history. When our clients desired to convert their pervious renovation into their dream Master Bath, they contact Xtreme Renovations and our Team of professionals that includes Design, Quality Craftsmanship and meticulous attention to details to deliver the final product and the ‘Wow Factor’ that Xtreme Renovations is known for.
The renovation project required removing an existing window, claw tub, extensive plumbing including moving and install new water and drain lines as well as adding an additional propane hot water heater. Many electrical upgrades were included in this renovation as well as extensive drywall work, painting and exterior siding to match the age of this portion of the home.
Our Xtreme Team went to work and presented a design concept that met the needs of our clients and delivered a modern and functional Master Bathroom that completed years of renovation on the Country Home. The project included Custom Built Vanity with full extension soft closing drawers and European hinge soft closing doors. A large shower enclosure was built with corner seating, shower niches, shower wand and stylish tile accents to enhance the shower area. Seamless Glass with heavy duty supports were included in the shower enclosure for ensured safety of our client’s young children and to provide piece of mind and total functionality of the family. The toilet was moved to add space due to the smaller size of this 1915 constructed Master Bath. Recessed LED lighting as well as above vanity light sconces on dimmers completed this amazing transformation.

This bathroom was remodeled for wheelchair accessibility in mind. We made a roll under vanity with a tilting mirror and granite counter tops with a towel ring on the side. A barrier free shower and bidet were installed with accompanying grab bars for safety and mobility of the client.

Renovisions received a request from these homeowners to remodel their existing master bath with the design goal: a spa-like environment featuring a large curb-less shower with multiple showerheads and a linear drain. Accessibility features include a hand-held showerhead mounted on a sliding bar with separate volume controls, a large bench seat in Blue Pearl granite and a decorative safety bar in a chrome finish. Multiple showerheads accommodated our clients ranging heights and requests for options including a more rigorous spray of water to a soft flow from a ceiling mounted rain showerhead. The various sprays provide a full luxury shower experience.
The curb-less Schluter shower system incorporates a fully waterproof and vapor tight environment to ensure a beautiful, durable and functional tiled shower. In this particular shower, Renovisions furnished and installed an elegant low-profile linear floor drain with a sloped floor design to enable the use of the attractive large-format (17” x 17”) Carrera-look porcelain tiles. Coordinating Carrera-look porcelain tiles with a band of color and shower cubby in Blue Pearl granite tie in with the color of the tile seat and ledge. A custom frameless glass shower enclosure with sleek glass door handles showcases the beautiful tile design.
Replacing the existing Corian acrylic countertops and integrated sinks with granite countertops in Blue Pearl and rectangular under mount porcelain sinks created a gorgeous, striking contrast to the white vanity cabinetry. The widespread faucets featuring crystal handles in a chrome finish, sconce lighting with crystal embellishments and crystal knobs were perfect choices to enhance the elegant look for the desired space.
After a busy day at work, our clients come home and enjoy a renewed, more open sanctuary/spa-like master bath and relax in style.

Statement hand-made ceramic tile and streamlined cabinetry are the essential elements for this memorable palette. The feature tiles are applied to one focal wall, to visually guide the user into the space. The unique water color variations between the tiles are perfectly complimented by the clean, white engineered quartz which finishes the curb top, niche shelves, and counter top. The rest of the room is sculpted by neutral, textured tiles and warm natural cherry wood to emphasize the airy yet bold narrative.

This age in place master bathroom incorporates safety and style. The shower features multiple grab bars and a shower seat. The safety of the comfort height toilet is enhanced with a subtle grab bar built into the toilet role holder. Both rain-head and hand-held shower faucets make the shower easy to use, and the non-slip tile creates a safe environment. The natural flowing veins of the porcelain tile add the essence of the ocean to this bathroom. A sit-down makeup area attached to the vanity completes this accessible bathroom. In every project we complete, design, form, function and safety are all important aspects to a successful space plan.
For these homeowners, it was an absolute must. The family had some unique needs that needed to be addressed. As physical abilities continued to change, the accessibility and safety in their master bathroom was a significant concern.
The layout of the bathroom was the first to change. We swapped places with the tub and vanity to give better access to both. A beautiful chrome grab bar was added along with matching towel bar and towel ring.
The vanity was changed out and now featured an angled cut-out for easy access for a wheelchair to pull completely up to the sink while protecting knees and legs from exposed plumbing and looking gorgeous doing it.
The toilet came out of the corner and we eliminated the privacy wall, giving it far easier access with a wheelchair. The original toilet was in great shape and we were able to reuse it. But now, it is equipped with much-needed chrome grab bars for added safety and convenience.
The shower was moved and reconstructed to allow for a larger walk-in tile shower with stylish chrome grab bars, an adjustable handheld showerhead and a comfortable fold-down shower bench – proving a bathroom can (and should) be functionally safe AND aesthetically beautiful at the same time.

Working with the homeowners and our design team, we feel that we created the ultimate spa retreat. The main focus is the grand vanity with towers on either side and matching bridge spanning above to hold the LED lights. By Plain & Fancy cabinetry, the Vogue door beaded inset door works well with the Forest Shadow finish. The toe space has a decorative valance down below with LED lighting behind. Centaurus granite rests on top with white vessel sinks and oil rubber bronze fixtures. The light stone wall in the backsplash area provides a nice contrast and softens up the masculine tones. Wall sconces with angled mirrors added a nice touch.
We brought the stone wall back behind the freestanding bathtub appointed with a wall mounted tub filler. The 69" Victoria & Albert bathtub features clean lines and LED uplighting behind. This all sits on a french pattern travertine floor with a hidden surprise; their is a heating system underneath.
In the shower we incorporated more stone, this time in the form of a darker split river rock. We used this as the main shower floor and as listello bands. Kohler oil rubbed bronze shower heads, rain head, and body sprayer finish off the master bath.
