Views to the lake were maximized on the is project by moving the seating area to the side of the house and utilizing wide steps to avoid a railing obstructing the view. The railing used custom turned then powder coated steel.

This client no longer wanted their kitchen table to be in the great room. In this new design, the seldom used screen porch was shortened to add space for a kitchen table that was actually next to the kitchen and close to the dishwasher. This new space also created a beautiful view of the outdoors that was previously obstructed by the screened porch.

The vertical shiplap disguises plumbing obstructions and creates the perfect intersection for the Bar and bench seat.

Inspiration for a modern home design remodel in Portland

bathroom with antique furniture vanity and medicine cabinet. Tiled in shelf on one side of tub shower hid an awkward obstruction but became useful. The deep red accent wall tied in with the medicine cabinet. A rectangular vessel sink brought some new to the old.

At the end of a long large great room we needed to fill the space but without obstructing the walkway. This oversized cabinet with large round mirror and oversized lamps filled the space well. We added the tall finials to help take your eye up to the beautiful crown molding and high ceiling.
