This modern kitchen in Leeds was designed to combine innovative layout planning with a rich mix of materials, resulting in a space that feels both striking and highly functional. The cabinetry is from the X-Line range, finished in a combination of Fluted Walnut Veneer and Artstone Laminate, creating depth and visual interest throughout the space. Wall units in fluted walnut reinforce this texture, adding a distinctive architectural element. Worktops are in 24mm Corian, offering a smooth, seamless surface that complements the kitchen's clean lines while providing durability for everyday use. Feature elements include a bespoke pantry, designed to maximise storage while keeping the layout streamlined, and a matt mirror splashback that softly reflects light, enhancing the sense of space without overpowering the design. Appliances are by Siemens, paired with a BORA hob that integrates extraction directly into the cooking surface, maintaining the uncluttered aesthetic and improving functionality. The result is a kitchen that brings together a variety of materials and finishes in a considered way, delivering both visual impact and practical performance for modern living.

This mid-century modern Rockford home was updated in stages, and the kitchen needed a complete remodel. The homeowners desired a kitchen that felt current without breaking from the character that defined the rest of the house. That meant we needed to choose materials that fit the home and highlighted the home’s character. Our team sourced pecky cypress and natural slate tile from non-traditional suppliers to get the exact look the home called for. The wood cabinetry was paired with a granite island, providing a gathering space in the kitchen without overpowering it. Because both materials required careful handling during installation, the crew worked more slowly and deliberately through this phase than a standard remodel. The result connected the kitchen directly to the living area, so the two spaces feel like one continuous room built in the same style as the rest of the home.

This beautiful home has some great architectural details that really make it unique. Copper accents were used above the porch and garage. A walk out second story balcony is the perfect evening retreat. Large granite steps were used at 3 different entrance points. Lastly, the quintessential New England stone, Boston Blend Round, was used throughout the project as siding, chimney stone, columns, and archways. This New England style design was echoed throughout the interior including a grand fireplace in the living room. Landscapes that overpower homes are all too common. On this project, the clients and our team worked together to create something sophisticated, but understated. Flagstone borders and rubble inlays on the parking pad provide texture and interest, where once there was an asphalt driveway. Reclaimed wall stone (laid in a traditional country style) frames the lower entrance in a warm effortless way. A mix of rectangular flagstone dissects the large sweeping lawn, leading to a side sitting area, or the front door. Lazy, loose perennial gardens soften all the edges and complete the picture.

Powder room wallpaper installation – Carlsbad. This transitional powder room was upgraded with wallpaper featuring a classic trellis motif in ivory and slate gray. Installed with precise cuts around the mirror and wall sconces, the pattern adds just enough sophistication to elevate the space without overpowering its compact size.

Gorgeous blues, reds, and greys make a statement in this Buckhead renovation, leaving our clients with an updated home with plenty of character! Our goal is to make your kitchen remodel as comfortable as possible. After establishing rapport with our client, we used our ingenuity to redesign and build their ideal kitchen in this stunning 10-foot-ceiling Brooklyn home. The warm tones of wood, quartz, and rich greens strike the ideal balance in creating this appealing design. How did we achieve this look? The Backsplash Our client wanted a simple kitchen remodel in the shaker design, but she also wanted to include green. Initially, we proposed green cabinets to create a bold green look in the kitchen. The main objective was to incorporate our complimenting colors while keeping a feeling of lightness. After going through a number of ideas and 3D prototypes, installing as many cabinets as we could without overpowering the kitchen was our goal of optimizing space. We determined that the best way to brighten the space would be to install white shaker cabinets in addition to higher lumen recessed LED lighting. We decided that finding exquisite green backsplash tiles would be the best way to give it the desired green pop. After numerous searches, we came across a company called Mercury Mosaics. While there were many green backsplash tiles to choose from, we opted for the mercury mosaics bluegrass diamond tiles. We loved these tiles because its created an illusion of cubes but at times, diamonds. The pattern is an art of illusion and its really gave us the personality we were looking for. The Flooring of Choice The flooring of choice was made by our client. We wanted the floors to feel soft and natural while capturing every bit of warmth to balance the whites and the greens and bring them together. While we could’ve opted for wood look tiles or luxury vinyl plank flooring, we ended up going with a premium slightly distressed white oak engineered hardwood flooring from Floor and Decor. Accents Although the flooring and the backsplash brought most of the kitchen together, we were still missing the cherry on top. The hardware and maybe something else? We decided on thin profiled brushed brass hardware to give us that luxurious feel we were looking for every time we opened the cabinet. The cherry on top for us were the hand made quarter round oak shelves which really tied in the floors and cabinets together and gave us that final pop we were looking for. It truly added the perfect character for our client who is also a teen-fiction author of multiple books.

2024 interior design trends are moving beyond the classic white and gray toward warmer tones that create an ambience of comfort and connection with nature. This year, the spotlight has been on warm tones paired with green accents that are both inviting and rejuvenating. This Stoneunlimited Kitchen and Bath client's home serves as a beautiful example getting back to warmer neutral tones of incorporates deep chocolate tones, warm browns and taupe to create a harmonious feeling as you walk through each space. Creamy gray painted walls are the perfect backdrop for the bolder design elements found in the exposed beams, backsplash, two tone cabinetry and accent walls. This home remodel has been inspired by nature. The dynamic sage green paint on the wall of the dedicated beverage station and in the living room bring life to each space. Our client has tastefully placed accent foliage and other decor throughout the home that has brought the outdoors into each room. Textures in the backsplash, natural wood grains in the cabinetry and exposed beams create a forest feel which is both inviting and peaceful. Stoneunlimited Kitchen and Bath Remodeling had the opportunity to help this customer achieve their dream of a fully remodeled main floor which included: kitchen, guest bathroom, dining room, kitchenette, pantry, living room and office. Extensive carpentry work was performed in what used to be a dinning and sitting room on the main level. A large wall was removed, and a new wall was created with a door entry and a recessed beverage station was installed with two tone upper and lower cabinets that house a small fridge. The upper cabinets with lighting were installed inside the glass upper cabinetry to add layered lighting to the space. Three wood beams were installed in the ceiling and a new kitchenette/pantry area was created behind the newly constructed wall. The kitchenette/pantry area includes a tall storage area as well as upper and lower cabinetry with a sink and small fridge. The kitchenette pantry is a perfect place to house countertop mixers, crock pots, air fryers or other small appliances that are accessible for immediate use. The main kitchen tops remain free of small appliance clutter and the countertops become an expansive workspace. The existing kitchen had a peninsula that made the area feel confined, prior to the kitchen remodel portion of the project. The peninsula was removed, and the fridge was relocated to the opposite wall, across the room to create a more open feel. Although a working island was installed, the flow through the kitchen feels more open and fluid than it did previously. The work island houses the microwave as well as additional storage. Spice and utensil pull outs to the left and right side of the range keep prepping utensils and seasonings conveniently tucked away. Other projects that were completed included in the home included new cabinetry and floating shelves that were installed in the living area. The two-tone aesthetic of the cabinetry is consistent with the other areas of the home and merge beautifully with the natural stacked stone feature in the fireplace wall. Darker lower cabinets anchor the room while lighter warmer upper tones provide a lighter feel without overpowering the space. The guest bathroom off of the living area was also remodeled. Taupe tones were introduced with the natural warm tones of newly installed cabinetry and countertops to maximize the storage space. 6 1/2 x 40" nut brown plank tile was installed and can be seen throughout the expanse of the first floor, giving the appearance of wood but are porcelain which are highly durable and easy to maintain. The homeowner also opted to have their main stairwell redone which included removing existing carpet, installation of stair treads and hardwood for the steps and landing area which included sanding and staining. Overall, the interior remodel of the main floor of this client's home was extensive and the impact of the changes that were made are incredible! The choices that were made with our client make this remodel not only specialized and customized to their everyday needs but a beautiful representation of how a dream home remodel can be achieved and accomplished. This home remodel checks all the boxes for what's in trend in 2024. ’25 years ago’ design shows — that’s why this young family needed DiD to create a whole house transitional transformation in their newly purchased home. We refreshed or completely recreated every single room in this 5000sf Moorestown home. From removing the family room and entry murals, to shrinking down the overpowering fireplace, changing lighting, and custom creating furniture and built-ins to suit the needs of this energetic family of 6. Light and bright was the goal in most instances, with pocketed touches of moody blues and grays. We also accessorized and installed new window treatments throughout. I love a beautiful Dining Room, and this one is definitely a favorite! This Dining Room belongs to our client in Frankfort. She had all of this lovely furniture to work with. She also had what most of us have had at one time or another – red walls! We looked to the existing rug which she wanted to keep as well as the other colors throughout the home for our color inspiration. We knew that fabric selection was going to be very important in the updated space as we were adding drapery panels, new slipcovers for the parsons chairs and a decorative pillow for the accent chair. We pulled three fabric combinations for the homeowner to chose from. She took the fabrics home and lived with them in the space, but knew right away that the green option was the way she wanted to go. For the walls, we had her contractor add wainscoting below the existing chair rail and painted it to match the trim. Above the chair rail, we selected Sherwin Williams’ Comfort Gray SW6205 which worked great with the rug and fabrics. I am nor a fan of chair rails but I am a fan of wainscoting in a Dining Room. All of the white trim color lightens up a room and allows you to do a strong color above it without overpowering the room. The fabrics really are showstoppers in this space – I adore the velvet on the parsons chairs, the embroideredlinen is perfect to frame the window and the crewel pattern on the decorative pillow ties all of the colors together. Her existing artwork and lighting are highlighted more with the new color scheme. And hats off to the homeowner for being open to a unique centerpiece – 3 green glass globes with gold detailing paired with a long bronze leaf bowl. Stunning! We love being able to work with a homeowner’s existing pieces and make them feel fresh with color and fabric. Enjoy!
