When our clients came to us with their renovation project asking for a pink kitchen, we were thrilled at the opportunity to create a unique, bright and colourful kitchen. It’s not something you see everyday, and we live for it! Being that they are a young family, who loves to cook but felt secluded and overwhelmed when in this space, we knew that this was going to be an epic transformation, not just aesthetically but also for their day-to-day life. This renovation transformed a closed off, cramped, and poorly laid-out kitchen into a colourful, bright, open, and inviting space that combines functionality with vibrant colours and character. The redesign focused on maximizing storage, improving layout efficiency, and infusing the space with unique design elements that make it both practical and fun.

This teenage girl's bedroom is a stylish and energetic space that blends soft, feminine touches with a pop of bold color for an exciting yet cozy atmosphere. The primary palette centers around blush pink, creating a warm and welcoming foundation, while mustard yellow accents add an unexpected pop of energy and creativity. Two feature walls are adorned with a subtle watercolor motif wallpaper in blush hues, to create visual interest without overwhelming the room. Artwork and decorative elements like framed prints, motivational quotes, or abstract art in mustard yellow, blush pink, and touches of gold create a personalized feel, bringing the entire room together.

While this project was a supply-only kitchen, our client in Fraserburgh had a clear vision for a modern, functional space with high-quality finishes. We supported them by providing a full 3D CAD design to help visualise the layout and materials and detailed plans for their joiner and on-site trades. We also played a key project management role in ensuring a smooth process throughout. This kitchen features Nolte’s sleek Velutto range, ideal for a modern, understated aesthetic. The base units in a Lava finish add depth without overwhelming the space. These are paired with overhead units in Oak Graphite Silver, bringing warmth to the design. For the worktops, we supplied Nolte’s 25mm Sand Lime Cream, offering a light, elegant surface that complements the deeper tones of the cabinetry. The kitchen is fully equipped with NEFF appliances, including a single oven with a Slide & Hide® door, a combi microwave, an induction hob, and a sleek integrated extractor. These appliances were carefully selected to meet the client’s needs while keeping the look streamlined. The finishing touches elevate both style and functionality in this kitchen. A Blanco Sona single bowl sink in Tartufo adds depth and character, while the Quooker Chrome Flex tap, complete with a pull-out hose, delivers instant boiling water and flexibility for everyday use. This classic 1970's rambler was purchased by our clients as their 'forever' retirement home and as a gathering place for their large, extended family. Situated on a large, verdant lot, the house was burdened with extremely dated finishes and poorly conceived spaces. These flaws were more than offset by the overwhelming advantages of a single level plan and spectacular sunset views. Weighing their options, our clients executed their purchase fully intending to hire us to immediately remodel this structure for them. Our first task was to open up this plan and give the house a fresh, contemporary look that emphasizes views toward Lake Washington and the Olympic Mountains in the distance. Our initial response was to recreate our favorite Great Room plan. This started with the elimination of a large, masonry fireplace awkwardly located in the middle of the plan and to then tear out all the walls. We then flipped the Kitchen and Dining Room and inserted a walk-in pantry between the Garage and new Kitchen location. While our clients' initial intention was to execute a simple Kitchen remodel, the project scope grew during the design phase. We convinced them that the original ill-conceived entry needed a make-over as well as both bathrooms on the main level. Now, instead of an entry sequence that looks like an afterthought, there is a formal court on axis with an entry art wall that arrests views before moving into the heart of the plan. The master suite was updated by sliding the wall between the bedroom and Great Room into the family area and then placing closets along this wall - in essence, using these closets as an acoustical buffer between the Master Suite and the Great Room. Moving these closets then freed up space for a 5-piece master bath, a more efficient hall bath and a stacking washer/dryer in a closet at the top of the stairs.

This four-level staircase commands attention from the moment you enter. Serving as the architectural centerpiece of the home, its open design works in harmony with strategic window placement to allow natural light to cascade down through all four levels of living space. The design makes bold use of contrast. The dark risers against light treads create visual drama, while wrought iron round balusters paired with painted wooden rails and newels ground the staircase in timeless elegance. What started as a kitchen design naturally flowed into the sitting area, dining room, and foyer, creating a warm and welcoming home. With the lower cabinets warm wood tone and creamy white upper cabinets, this kitchen is light and open without being overwhelming. Instead, it feels organic and balanced. This design is inviting with layered spaces that feel elevated but still livable.

This original bathroom was a great size to begin with but just needed to be updated from it's dated, overwhelming tile and plain cabinets. By using lots of white finishes, we were able to make the space feel even larger, airier and calming. Instead of a large tub deck with a drop in tub that wasted space, we opted for a large, comfortable freestanding Victoria and Albert tub with free standing faucet. This helped open up the space as well as allowing for an additional storage cabinet. By using a porcelain tile that looks like marble, you have the beauty of marble with out the maintenance of it. Using remnants of marble slabs for the counter tops we were able to add in that additional touch of elegance to tie the look all together. The 3x6 subway tile lends to the traditional look of the house, but adding in a stone and glass mosaic makes it look updated, and adds just a bit of color. Having a rain dome and hand shower in the shower gives you a spa experience. There was also a rather large radiator that we had to deal with behind the tub, so we made our own custom radiator cover. Nestled in a wooded area in the Pacific Northwest, the 1800 sf Passive Cedar Haus was built as a retirement home. The Artisans Group designed the layout of the home, mindful of aging in place, and working to ensure that the home blended in with the surrounding natural beauty. The project meets a complex program, with an unheated sleeping porch for a master bedroom, a screened porch, a 600 sf caretakers apartment/mother in law unit, large wood shop, plus a two car carport. The home seamlessly integrates a floating cedar tongue and groove roof with large sheltering overhangs, clerestory windows, and language of cedar slats for privacy screens and doors inside and out. The warm, natural materials of wood and cork for the interior palette are punctuated by lively accents and stunning fixtures. This ultra energy efficient home relies on extremely high levels of insulation, air-tight detailing and construction, and the implementation of high performance, custom made European windows and doors by Zola Windows. Zola’s ThermoPlus Clad line, which boasts R-11 triple glazing and is thermally broken with a layer of patented German Purenit®, was selected for the project. Floor-to-ceiling windows in the main living area, gives an expansive view of the surrounding Northwest forest. The tops of these windows reveal the interior cedar clad and the up-swept soffits on the home’s exterior, creating a floating ceiling effect. Slatted spruce wood fly-overs break up the vertical areas of the great room and define separate areas that would otherwise feel like an overwhelmingly expansive space. However, even just by updating the decor in your home you can create a beautiful and fresh looking space. One space that is particularly easy to overhaul is the dining room. This is one of the smaller rooms in the home and contains a minimal amount of furniture, making the remodeling process quick and simple. An essential factor of dining room design is the color scheme of this space. When searching for the best paint colors for a dining room you should keep a few things in mind, including your design, the size of the room, and the décor of the rest of your house. Because it tends to be smaller than most rooms in the home you do not want to choose a really dark or overwhelming color like black or bright fuchsia. Rather save these hues as accents in dark wood furniture, curtains, pictures, and other wall art. In this dining room we kept the colors neutral and added more accents to hi-gloss moldings, highlighting the architecture of the space and creating space definition with a TOUCH OF CLASS - TOC When it comes to lighting for the dining room you have a lot of options such as chandeliers or wall sconces, however natural light is always best. If you already have windows in this space try to keep them uncovered or use sheer fabric curtains to allow optimum illumination in throughout the day. If your dining room does not have windows there are other options available that can help to brighten and open up this area Accessorizing your dining room with the right accents is very important to tie in all aspects of the design. For example, an elegant table centerpiece can make the dining space feel more homey and relaxed. You can accent a kitchen island or dining table with a stunning vase of festive flowers, ornamental fruits and vegetables, or a basket of decorative glass ornaments. However, try to keep the ornamentation to a minimum to prevent cluttering the countertops. Sometimes the table itself can be an accent piece. The dining room creates an elegant focal point that contains different colors, textures, and patterns. Similarly, leather chairs surrounding solid oak dining room furniture add the element of texture and color while creating a rustic, old world atmosphere. Dining Room in Minton Circle | Room Type: Full Home Design & Furnishing – Approximately 5,300 sq ft | 5 Bed | 5 ½ Bath (including office, primary bedroom/bath, dining room, family room, breakfast nook and wine wall). Project Name: Minton Circle | Key Feature: A Transitional/Modern home designed for multigenerational living, highlighted by a custom wine feature wall with built-in cabinetry, a fully custom arched pantry door, and layered lighting and furnishings that elevated the builder-grade finishes. Challenge: Designing a full dining room wine wall that would serve as a striking focal point without overwhelming the space or feeling heavy against the clean, modern architecture. Solution: We recessed the wine wall within the architectural niche to create depth and intentional framing. Slim, vertical metal racks were installed in a symmetrical layout, allowing the bottles themselves to become sculptural elements against the crisp white backdrop. By pairing the open wine display with low, dark cabinetry below, we grounded the feature and added concealed storage to balance form and function. The minimal metal detailing and negative space keep the installation feeling light and modern, while still delivering impact the moment you enter the room. The neutral pieces in this room create a wonderful background for pops of color, pattern play, or different textures to be added to the room at any time. None of the pattern we chose were overwhelming, they just become an accent to the room and a way to keep the space visually interesting.

For this kitchen renovation project, the clients came into Ancient Elements Stoneworks not sure what they were wanting and overwhelmed with the numerous options. The employees of Ancient Elements Stoneworks helped guide the clients through the different options and in the end resulted in the perfect stone for their kitchen. This kitchen is a very spacious kitchen with a cooktop, large island, undermount sink, and full height splash that goes all the up the wall and around the window. Overall, this project turned out amazing and pulled this client’s house together.
