White kitchen cabinets are always in the top three request colors year after year for kitchen cabinetry. White is timeless, airy, bright, and can give any size kitchen a fresh, clean look. White cabinets are incredibly versatile and complement various designs and style choices of hardware, countertops, backsplash, and flooring. These white shaker cabinets come in a bright white, or creamy antique white—both shades complementing many colors, whether warm or cool accents are used in the kitchen. If you like the modern look, pair white shaker cabinets with a glossy countertop and a dark contrasting flooring or different tones of silver and gray. White cabinets lend well to transitional style kitchens by mixing the shaker cabinets’ clean lines with wood and metal accents. You can also go traditional with the white kitchen cabinets with butcher-block countertops and complimentary wood flooring.

Fun powder room remodel was part of this great remodel project. It turned out so fantastic. White shaker style vanity with Carrara marble top is surrounded by white subway tile with a silver color grout. The fun gray and whit cement tile floor finishes off the space with fun and flair.

Our clients owned a secondary home in Bellevue and decided to do a major renovation as the family wanted to make this their main residence. A decision was made to add 3 bedrooms and an expanded large kitchen to the property. The homeowners were in love with whites and grays, and their idea was to create a soft modern look with transitional elements. We designed the kitchen layout to capitalize on the view and to meet all of the homeowners requirements. Large open plan kitchen lets in plenty of natural light and lots of space for their 3 boys to run around. We redesigned all the bathrooms, helped the clients with selection of all the finishes, materials, and fixtures for their new home.

The transitional style of this kitchen design offers a sleek and comfortable space that combines the best of the traditional and contemporary styles. The all white kitchen includes shaker cabinetry, quartz countertops, and ceramic subway tile backsplash. Stainless steel appliances and a stainless chimney hood complete the bright kitchen design.

We turned this once drab monotone kitchen into a bright modern kitchen with a creative twist. The homeowners wanted to maintain the same footprint but use all new finishes, as well as adding a "wow" factor. New white shaker style cabinets brighten up this kitchen, as well as the bath. Ship-lap inspired custom doors were created for the island. Quartzmaster white countertops were installed throughout the kitchen with an Antique Moss Rain glass 3"x12" backsplash tile, which pulled the whole room together with the contrasting Cityscape (SW 7067) gray walls. Black and white can never make a comeback, because it's always around. Such a classic combo that never gets old and we had lots of fun creating a fun and functional space in this jack and jill bathroom. Used by one of the client's sons as well as being the bathroom for overnight guests, this space needed to not only have enough foot space for two, but be "cool" enough for a teenage boy to appreciate and show off to his friends. The vanity cabinet is a freestanding unit from WW Woods Shiloh collection in their Black paint color. A simple inset door style - Aspen - keeps it looking clean while really making it a furniture look. All of the tile is marble and sourced from Daltile, in Carrara White and Nero Marquina (black). The accent wall is the 6" hex black/white blend. All of the plumbing fixtures and hardware are from the Brizo Litze collection in a Luxe Gold finish. Countertop is Caesarstone Blizzard 3cm quartz.

Andrew McKinney Photography Not every kitchen on houzz is enormous! Here's a 10' x 10' kitchen. It seems that painted white kitchens never go out of favor. While the cabinets, faucets and hardware lean toward a more traditional look, that look is tempered by the modern lines of grey glass tile and the chimney hood. And instead of carrara marble counter tops, the client opted for quartz for a similar look (Cambria's "Torquay").

Location: Spring Lake, NJ, US Our design goal for this renovation and addition was to present a modern interpretation of Colonial Plantation Style. This home features dark wood floors, wood paneling and a light soothing color scheme. The Dining Room features classic silk De Gournay Wallpaper which further fuses the indoor and outdoor seamlessness of the home. The amazing tile installations permeate the decor with color, texture and pattern. The shaker-style kitchen is refreshed by using black cabinetry, a custom stainless hood and La Cornue Range. We enjoyed adding vintage finds throughout - a farm table for the Kitchen, Bergere chairs in the Entry, and a Victorian Flower mirror in the Powder Room. threshold interiors ensures that your beach retreat is elegant, transitional and most importantly comfortable and relaxing!
