While looking online for pass-through windows, this homeowner found the Gas Strut Window by ActivWall. She reached out to find more information and worked with ActivWall’s engineering team to customize the perfect window for her space. The 71″ wide by 62″ high window was manufactured in Martinsville, Virginia, and shipped directly to Melissa’s home for her contractor WellDone Remodel to install it. “Working with ActivWall was a pleasure,” she said. “From the first time I reached out, throughout the whole design process, and then fabrication, the team kept me updated on what was going on and was always available for any questions I might have.” Kitchen bar designed by Trish Wallet and constructed by WellDone Remodel. Inspiration for an eclectic kitchen remodel in Portland

This window was hard to come by, designer Kelly Hendricks had to search high and low for a window that would allow clear vision to the newly built on Patio, allowing for communication flow and interaction between the spaces.

This dining area is part of a full condominium renovation completed in the Capilano building at Woodcroft, 2024 Fullerton Ave., North Vancouver. The design focused on improving spatial flow and brightness by opening the kitchen wall and creating a pass-through connection between the kitchen and dining area. Wide plank flooring installed throughout the unit visually connects the dining space to the kitchen and living room, reinforcing the open-concept layout created during the renovation. The modern globe pendant light adds a soft architectural feature while maintaining a clean and minimalist aesthetic. Mirrored closet doors were incorporated to visually expand the space and reflect natural light coming from the living room windows. As with many renovation projects in the Woodcroft high-rise complex, this work required careful coordination with strata management and building regulations to ensure the permitted renovation was executed smoothly and efficiently.
