Among the new surfaces are shaker style cherry cabinets with a clear finish, soft closing doors & drawers, and furniture grade domestic maple interiors. The cabinetry was trimmed and carefully installed by our CRC artisans and made by Signature Cabinetry & Design. The countertops are a gorgeous cut of Crema Bordeaux granite slab, fabricated and installed by Marble Fino. The appliances are beautiful KitchenAid stainless steel models the homeowner purchased from Pearson's Appliance, and installed by us.
The floor is a new wood look vinyl product by DuChateau Floors called Vinyl Deluxe recommended by Jim Pitcher, Owner of CRC. This is not your mother's vinyl floor! This is cutting edge technology. Can you tell the difference? There are astonishingly similar alternatives to hardwood flooring available today. Banned from kitchens and bathrooms no more! You too can have the look of hardwood without the drawbacks of wood products in wet and high traffic areas.
Lighting in the kitchen was enhanced by LED ceiling can lights and under cabinet LED strip lights. Notice there are no visible outlets interrupting the backsplash. We tucked outlets under the upper cabinets giving plenty of power where the homeowner needs it without the outlets being visible. Little details make a big difference.

We designed a Cape-inspired interior design to reflect the clients' roots and create a sense of timeless belonging. The space features bright and airy interiors, cozy furnishings, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere perfect for family relaxation.
The dining area, acting as a family hub, features sleek furniture and a welcoming fireplace, paired with soft armchairs for ultimate relaxation. English fabrics and layered patterns create a rich, textured environment.

Mandy Loriot Photography - This is a simple idea for something to put in a stairway landing without a lot of space (complete with a toy from my bulldog zoe). :-) I could easily paint the baskets any color and bring out the wooden architecture which is something I'm considering. I have an antique foldup sewing table made in the 40's with inlaid wood on the front that I will be refinishing to put here. It's easy to find things to give a sense of warmth to your home while you have bigger and better things in the works for a space, or are on a tight budget and can't afford expensive furniture. The baskets you can get at your local Garden Ridge, Hobby Lobby, etc., the flowers from your local craft store, and the pitcher from IKEA.

A five-bedroom, five-bath, 5,000 square foot home in Danville was in need of a make-over.
Originally, the family room had a shed roof from the first floor to second floor hallway that didn’t leave sufficient head room in the hallway, and reduced the view. The roof was removed and replaced with a gable end roof. New windows added more light and a view of the swimming pool.
The home’s tired 70’s look was transformed to an Old World design, keeping with the feel of the neighborhood. A detailed bar was added to the family room; the laundry was moved upstairs.
New custom cabinetry now adorns the dining room and great room. In the new kitchen, a custom island has four turned legs, keeping with the Old World look. Its visually stunning, labor intensive, hand rubbed finish was achieved by staining and lacquering the piece, then spraying it with a pigmented conversion varnish, after which the edges were lightly sanded, giving the unit a rubbed, aged appearance.
“Now that we have a state-of-the-art cabinet shop, we enjoy showing off our technical cabinetry skills,” Jim Pitcher said. “The shop gives us the opportunity to deliver unique cabinets and built-in furniture pieces that enhance our projects.”

This corner of the dining room features a modern and stylish bar cart as its focal point, creating a functional yet decorative area for entertaining. The cart itself has a polished chrome or silver-toned frame with a distinct crisscross design on the sides and two clear glass shelves.
The top shelf is a well-curated display of bar essentials, including several bottles of spirits, a shaker set, and a small tray holding fresh lemons. A collection of assorted glassware, including what appears to be crystal tumblers and highball glasses, is also arranged on both tiers of the cart. The bottom shelf holds additional barware, such as a silver ice bucket and a pitcher.
The surrounding decor complements the modern feel of the cart. The wall is covered in a light, textured wallpaper and features a framed, Art Deco-style poster that says "NEW YORK." The room also includes white wainscoting and a window that brings in natural light, adding to the bright and airy feel of the space.
