Inspiration for a bedroom rustic gender-neutral kids' bedroom remodel in San Francisco

Bedroom simplicity - calming light dapples through the windows of this loft style condominium and provides a compact space with a subtle but strong punch. We transitioned the saturated orange color from space to space - moving your eye from the floor to the walls to the linens. Tall, custom shelving is nestled between the end wall and existing concrete column, and provides functional, vertical storage. Floating wall shelves by CB2, bed from Room & Board has a pull-out storage drawer at the foot of the bed, lounge chair from West Elm, drapes from Restoration Hardware, area rug composed from FLOR carpet tiles and fits around the bed "just so". We designed this master bedroom for someone who wanted a more contemporary and glamorous feel. The blues, lavenders and taupe are combined to create a soft and soothing room. We tied the taupe velvet bed with the Irish taupe/white custom panels to a taupe in the linen print. We used linen for the blue Roman Shade. To add some glam, we chose mirrored side chests. We chose a dramatic chrome chandelier and chrome swing arm wall lamps. There is a small custom upholstered chair and bench in the room, as well as a black chest of drawers, wall TV and flat weave wool carpet.

Victoria and Albert slipper tub! Once in a blue moon, a designer freaks out a little when given the go-ahead to install something this unique. This extremely comfortable tub needed 2 drains and a little extra height to install over the concrete floors beneath. We used this opportunity to showcase this stunner just a little more with a transition from the woodgrain tile of the main floor to a warm grey low platform.

Our clients daughter wanted to move out of her tweenage years into her teenage years and she wanted a bedroom makeover. Interesting enough she had a flair for the modernity, clean lines and a touch of minimalist . Her two favorite colors , orange and purple.

Wall Control metal pegboard accessories being put to work. One of the great things about Wall Control's pegboard spray can holder is that it accepts Wall Control accessories just like a regular panel so you can store more items in the same amount of wall space.

The circular well enclosure features a solid wood platform and the decorative balusters that are common with our Forged Iron spiral stairs. You can also see the matching loft railing.

The backyard features a reconfigured swimming pool and cast-in-place deck. The raised concrete platform beyond acts as a focal point for the garden, and features terra-cotta tile insets using material from the original house's outdoor courtyard. Board-formed concrete planters and fountains rim the area. The lush grass seen here requires no water - it is synthetic, and a great success. Stainless Steel & Glass Kitchen backsplash: Eden Mosaic Tile Modern Random Mix Steel - Glass II - EMT_118S-MIX-SM. This ultra modern interlocking tile is comprised of various sizes of silver and light black stainless steel and white glass pieces. There are two types of brush patterns on the stainless steel, the first being a straight snow matte linear brush pattern, and the second being a circular brushed pattern. The different steel brush patterns appear to give the stainless steel a different color because of the way the light reflects off the tile, when in fact both are a regular stainless steel color. The result is a visually stunning array of colors and textures which will surely make your wall pop. Use this steel and glass mixed mosaic on kitchen backsplashes, bathroom walls, fireplaces and even accent walls. The tiles in this sheet are mounted on a nylon mesh which allows for an easy installation.
