Tuscany goes Modern – SAY WHAT? Well you can't beat the amazing downtown and Pacific views from this fabulous pad which is what sold the pair on this property. But nothing, and I mean nothing, about its design was a reflection of the personal taste or personalities of the owners – until now. How do you take a VERY Tuscan looking home and infuse it with a contemporary, masculine edge to better personify its occupants without a complete rebuild? Here’s how we did it…

I was asked to design a unique desk with reference to the traditional red lacquer Asian furniture. I chose to create a color layered effect using milk paint in a lacquer like manner. My style once again reflects my random columns layered in a stylized way suggesting the columnar basalt geologic rock formations.

My client Lindsey knew exactly what she wanted for the color scheme in this light and airy living room -- indigo with a splash of red and coral -- but the biggest challenge we had was the large space to fill and make cozy. My client has the eye of an artist for design and color, and she was able to express this with this amazing room we pulled together. We used a bold pattern in indigo and white for the window treatments along with light and airy braided natural woven shades. Altogether the window treatments along with the pillows, red lacquer coffee table, and accessories transformed this room into a warm and cozy living space. The Sasha sectional is beautiful, yet functional all at once. The sectional is available in both right and left facings, and can be ordered in many different leather options. Sasha is covered in a full grain leather, with split grain on the back and sides. The seat backs can be adjusted backwards and forwards for complete custom comfort. Sectional comes with one headrest and reversible tray that can be used as an end table, or flipped over to be a part of the chaise. Arm rests can be titled or laid flat. 116.5"x 85"x 38"/40.5" (with headrest) The steps cocktail table has a sleek streamline design that's extremely versatile. Table is great for those who love to entertain. Table consists of 3 glossy lacquer pieces that can be moved to suite your mood. Picture shows different positions, but the possibilites are endless! 48"-62" x 31.5"-46" x 12"

One of our modern Italian Kitchen projects finished in 2016 for a beautiful contemporary style home on Long Island, NY. The kitchen is from our A-Line Italian products, with a mix of red and white lacquer finish and integrated door handles. Kitchen style, colors and overall design was put together by our in-house designers based on client's vision, giving the home the modern, up-beat and energized feel our client wanted.
