This creative transitional space was transformed from a very dated layout that did not function well for our homeowners - who enjoy cooking for both their family and friends. They found themselves cooking on a 30" by 36" tiny island in an area that had much more potential. A completely new floor plan was in order. An unnecessary hallway was removed to create additional space and a new traffic pattern. New doorways were created for access from the garage and to the laundry. Just a couple of highlights in this all Thermador appliance professional kitchen are the 10 ft island with two dishwashers (also note the heated tile area on the functional side of the island), double floor to ceiling pull-out pantries flanking the refrigerator, stylish soffited area at the range complete with burnished steel, niches and shelving for storage. A bar, (blue tone cabinet) was installed in the dinette area creating an attractive, functional area. Coronado, CA The Alameda Residence is situated on a relatively large, yet unusually shaped lot for the beachside community of Coronado, California. The orientation of the “L” shaped main home and linear shaped guest house and covered patio create a large, open courtyard central to the plan. The majority of the spaces in the home are designed to engage the courtyard, lending a sense of openness and light to the home. The aesthetics take inspiration from the simple, clean lines of a traditional “A-frame” barn, intermixed with sleek, minimal detailing that gives the home a contemporary flair. The interior and exterior materials and colors reflect the bright, vibrant hues and textures of the seaside locale.

Our craftsmen removed an existing wall, doubling the depth of this kitchen. The doorway from kitchen to foyer and the doorway from kitchen to family room were widened and new headers were installed. Now, the remodeled area allowed for TWO islands and more cabinetry. Plug-molds, hidden under the island and under the wall cabinets, maintained a clean look eliminating receptacles. The finishing touch was the brick pattern subway backsplash tile and the accent tile in the niche above the range. The new Red Oak flooring was our final detail.

Our roof cleaning is a one-time service that is usually followed by annual maintenance. Moss and Debris Removal Existing moss is agitated with a wire brush which will physically remove over 80% of the existing moss. Then we will blow off the moss and roof debris followed by cleaning out any open gutters and downspouts. Moss Treatment We will apply our moss and algae treatment to kill the remaining moss that didn’t come off with the wire brush. This may take a few weeks as the rain will naturally bring the moss treatment down the entire roof. Full Inspection & Report As with our annual maintenance service, we will thoroughly inspect your entire roof system and supply you with an after service, comprehensive report of your roof including the details of the service we performed. This will feature before and after photos so you can see the difference. We will also perform a full clean up of the grounds.

This project is a whole home remodel that is being completed in 2 phases. The first phase included this bathroom remodel. The whole home will maintain the Mid Century styling. The cabinets are stained in Alder Wood. The countertop is Ceasarstone in Pure White. The shower features Kohler Purist Fixtures in Vibrant Modern Brushed Gold finish. The flooring is Large Hexagon Tile from Dal Tile. The decorative tile is Wayfair “Illica” ceramic. The lighting is Mid-Century pendent lights.
