And opposite the fire, two repurposed red leather chairs find new life, adding a nostalgic pop of color that feels both collected and intentional. It’s a study built for conversation, for quiet moments, and for the kind of seasonal coziness that only deep winter can bring. The scope included great room, dining room conversion to sitting room with vintage furniture, foyer, guest bathroom. Renovation included all selections for replacement of all trim with hand stained trim, new flooring, new interior and exterior doors, custom-made furniture, custom-made chandeliers, complete renovation of media center and fireplace surround and mantle. The client's resin top coffee table was re-purposed to be the top of the new media cabinet. New hardwood was installed in this basement to create a warm feeling that now flows with the upper level of this home.

Douglas fir wainscotting removed from church and re-purposed as fireplace bulkhead over mantle; mantle re-purposed from beam demolition of food store in Saskatoon. Black and gray granite surround is called "Tree Bark." New windows, double height, and triple glazed, are fifteen feet tall.
