Cindy Olstead InteriorsFor this project, our client was an avid cook so we redesigned the kitchen with that in mind. Originally, the kitchen was very small with a restrictive wall separating it from the living and just a tiny kitchenette.
We removed the wall separating the rooms to create an open-floor plan and also placed in the two islands. This allows our client to watch over her family while she spends time in the kitchen and also foster greater family intimacy in the space.
The pendant lighting, the blue glass tile, stools, and other details were specifically selected and coordinated throughout the kitchen for our client due to her love of her favorite LeCreuset color.
Lakeside Architecture Inc.The owners of this cottage are teachers who subdivided the neighbouring family cottage lot. The owners wanted a traditional, cozy but functional space to relax and spend their summers with family and friends. The cottage is set on a point of land and had many set back restrictions. The design resulted in a unique layout and features an all wood interior, a stone fireplace and reclaimed wood floors.

All the luxury extras are included, from spillover spa, to lounge area with fire feature, to outdoor dining area with two separate BBQ stations. We used custom made Fleetwood pocket doors with interior wood frames so that the expansive wrap around lanai added fouled the living area, while following the restrictive building code. The This is the first luxury residence,need accredited completed off the grid in Maui in 2002.
John Webb Construction and DesignThis custom IKEA kitchen remodel started with redesigning the cabinet layout, installing new hardwood flooring throughout, and then installation the IKEA cabinetry with custom IKEA fronts, panels, and trim work. The solid butcherblock floating shelves were enforced with steel rods welded to steel plates connecting to the wall studs; those shelves will never drop due to any weight restrictions.
KB Design +A city condo needed an uplift, all finishes started to feel outdated, the kitchen's layout did not work for a dynamic couple who love to entertain and play Bridge with their friends on the regular basis.
We developed a plan how to provide a luxurious experience and necessary changes in the limited space. The condo has some physical limitations as well, such as the load bearing walls could not be changed, the duct work had to stay in place, and the floor finishes had to satisfy strict sound restrictions.

There were height restrictions and conservation authorities had to approve everything first, as well as obtaining the permits and building the structure without going to the committee of adjustment. It was a very enjoyable project as our clients made a few great changes along the way and we communicated well. The pool and landscaping were executed by Elite Crete Pools.
Optic Verve LLCAfter removing the lawn and deciding where the path should go, low berms were created using soil and gravel to "cradle" it in a warm, welcoming embrace. Berms also adds the possibility for staggered height to plantings - akin to the added exposure of stadium seating, as opposed to a flat plain. So as not to obstruct river views, the HOA maintains a max height requirement for plantings, so even low berms create movement and a more interesting dynamic.

The Decorating TherapistAs part of the luxury main-floor renovation, the dining room layout was reimagined to improve circulation and create a more entertaining-friendly floor plan. A large sideboard that previously occupied the shared wall between the kitchen and dining room restricted movement around the dining table, making it difficult for guests to circulate comfortably during gatherings. By relocating the piece to the adjacent living room and repurposing it as an elegant home bar, the design dramatically improved traffic flow while giving the furniture a sophisticated new purpose. This thoughtful space-planning solution enhanced both functionality and hospitality, creating a more open dining experience and a dedicated beverage station for effortless entertaining.
