The apartment is located in the center of Yerevan, providing a beautiful panoramic view of the whole city. The concept of the project was to create an urban loft for a young family based on both customers demand and the functionality of the premises. The apartment is designed with strict architectural approach providing functional arrangement of all areas. Pastel colors have been extensively used in the interior design. The priority in the selection of the materials used in the project was given to non-harmful and natural elements thus creating an environment where the residents can be in psychological harmony at any time of the day. A great attention was paid to the function of furniture and lighting. Modern furniture pieces have been used for the whole house, some of which are world-renowned models. The selection of material and color, the use of simple geometric shapes, the correct combination of large and small volumes gives an additional space to the apartment. Linking one area to another with ceiling-to-floor doors creates unique architectural experience for the residents. Simple, yet functional solutions, the combination of natural and artificial light create pleasant atmosphere through-out the day. Each room serves its purpose, enabling homeowners to enjoy their daily routine. This West Village apartment had typical condo finishes. With a modest budget and strict schedule we moved some walls to create a hidden playroom for the owners’ two sons and added molding, arched doorways, wainscot and window seats to give this routine looking apartment a traditional feel.

The ultimate spa experience, right at home. This primary shower utilizes a monochromatic white palette and an integrated bench seat to create a bright, peaceful sanctuary. By prioritizing clean lines and ethereal marble-look surfaces, we turned a daily routine into a coastal-inspired escape.

This comprehensive main floor remodel transformed a dated early-2000s home into a warm, distinctive space tailored for modern family life and effortless entertaining. Located in Northwest Indiana, the home’s renovation included the kitchen, living room, dining-to-sitting room conversion, office, mudroom, and laundry—each space reimagined with layered detail and a cohesive design language. The project’s primary goal was to move away from builder-grade finishes and create a home full of character and comfort. In the kitchen, we reworked the layout to improve flow—removing a restrictive peninsula, extending the island for added seating, and designing a custom hood and cabinetry plan that worked around existing structural beams. A warmer palette of earth tones and neutrals reflected the clients’ personal style, while upgraded lighting, a statement range, and a larger pantry elevated functionality. A double-sided fireplace connecting the kitchen and living room was redesigned to feel more intentional, with cohesive materials used on both faces. In the living area, a previously underwhelming wet bar became a standout moment with deep green cabinetry, a wine fridge, and built-in storage—adding both function and sophistication. Throughout the project, structural limitations and narrow footprints presented design challenges that were met with custom solutions—from a uniquely shaped island to intentional lighting plans that worked around ceiling beams. The final result is a highly personal, connected series of spaces that support both everyday routines and meaningful moments of gathering—infused with warmth, purpose, and a relaxed sense of luxury.

Open-Concept Living With Hosting in Mind Our clients hosted often and lived actively, so the main level had to be flexible for all of life’s moments. The goal was a space that felt grand without losing its warmth. Cooking together as a family mattered to our clients – the Wolf range, farmhouse sink, integrated appliances, and large island gave them a kitchen that flowed effortlessly while looking beautiful. This space also served as the bridge between other parts of the main level so that they would stay in view of the next. This created the perfect environment for gathering where everyone had their own spot without ever feeling apart from the whole group. For the living room, our clients wanted space that felt open without losing its warmth. Soaring ceilings created that sense of scale, while warm tones and materials, like the wood coffered ceiling and fireplace wall, kept it grounded. That same warmth carried outside, where an outdoor lounge with a fireplace and dining area made sure guests felt welcomed the moment they stepped out. A Backyard Built for Real Rest Every corner of the backyard was designed with one goal: to be the ultimate outdoor retreat. The elevated, white-brick-framed pool and integrated spa hot tub gave them a place to truly exhale. As the sun set, the fire pit lounge next to the pool became the hangout spot when they hosted their youth groups and family gatherings. Room to Grow With kids in the house, “custom” had to also mean flexible. Our clients had 2 young sons and needed their rooms to grow with them through the years. The two bedrooms and a full bath sat beside a loft that served as both their hangout-and-homework spot. The guest suite sat on the same level where a four-poster bed, floor-to-ceiling wood-look tile, and a frameless glass shower welcomed their guests from day one. A Retreat That’s Actually Theirs Between hosting and raising kids, this couple needed a suite that felt like a true escape. The wood-planked tray ceiling and French doors grounded the room in warmth the moment you walked in, while the ensuite bathroom carried a spa-like feeling with a freestanding soaking tub, custom double vanity, and a glass-enclosed shower. This Is What Approachable Luxury Looks Like The approachable luxury experience meant starting with conversations about how they wanted their space to live with them – how they hosted, how their kids played, how they wanted to feel walking through their own front door, and how we took their goals and experience and used it as the foundation of every decision that was made from start to finish. With a quiet site and good views to a stream-fed park to the east, this 1800 SF split-level had great potential. Here, as in many homes, the kitchen is the hub of family life. So it was crucial that the space worked well for both large gatherings and daily family routines. On the 1st floor, the key was to work within the existing house as much as possible, re-configuring the interior walls while simultaneously increasing the floor to ceiling height. Additional windows, patio doors and a small kitchen addition brightened the interior and expanded the house by providing a new, light-filled, double-height foyer. More space was gained by relocating the master bedroom to a new 2nd floor suite. Taking down the walls that compartmentalized the first floor allowed the kitchen, dining and living rooms to be defined by tall cabinets. Outfitted as kitchen pantry storage on one side and built-in living room bookshelves on the other, these cabinets extend only partially to the new 9-foot high ceiling and allow the 1st floor to be viewed more as a single room. Switching the locations of the dining room and kitchen allowed for better functionality, views and access to the rear patio through wide sliding glass doors. Access to the 2nd floor master suite is via a wood and steel-framed stair outfitted with stainless steel aircraft cable fittings. The high-ceiling master bedoom leads to an adjacent study and private deck overlooking the placid rear yard. The light-filled bath acts as a buffer to the street beyond and has been outfitted with a frameless glass shower, heated slate tile floor and sauna.

This modern, kitchen remodel reimagined the main living spaces for better flow, function, and everyday living. We removed the existing fireplace and framed a new wall in its place to create a cleaner, more cohesive layout. The back door was relocated to improve circulation, the French doors were removed, and the existing beam was updated to accommodate the new open-concept design. The kitchen was expanded into the former dining room, creating a spacious gathering place with abundant custom storage and thoughtfully designed workspaces. A garden window bump-out brings in natural light while providing the perfect spot for growing fresh herbs year-round. To maximize functionality, we also extended the mudroom into the garage, creating a dedicated drop zone with additional storage for busy daily routines. The finished space combines warm natural materials, clean modern lines, and practical design solutions, resulting in a home that feels both inviting and highly functional.

The new shower includes a ceiling-mounted rain head and a handheld shower, both featuring Brizo Kintsu Brilliance Black Onyx finish. Kenridge Ribbon Maple Brown 24x48 tiles from TileBar were selected for the shower walls, stacked vertically to enhance the sense of height. The shower floor features Anthea Earth 2x2 Mosaic tiles, providing texture and durability. A recessed niche was installed for convenient storage, keeping essentials within reach. Frameless glass panels with matte black clips keep the shower feeling open and refined. The vanity features a Signature Hardware Aliso Natural Teak 48” cabinet with an Arctic White Quartz countertop, paired with a Brizo Allaria wall-mounted faucet in Brilliance Black Onyx. A Kohler Verdera recessed mirror with a magnifying feature enhances both style and function. Anthea Earth 24x48 matte tiles from Arizona Tile extend from the flooring up the walls, creating a cohesive and inviting look.
