L Marie Interior DesignClients' first home and there forever home with a family of four and in laws close, this home needed to be able to grow with the family. This most recent growth included a few home additions including the kids bathrooms (on suite) added on to the East end, the two original bathrooms were converted into one larger hall bath, the kitchen wall was blown out, entrying into a complete 22'x22' great room addition with a mudroom and half bath leading to the garage and the final addition a third car garage. This space is transitional and classic to last the test of time.

When our clients moved into their already built home they decided to live in it for a while before making any changes. Once they were settled they decided to hire us as their interior designers to renovate and redesign various spaces of their home. As they selected the spaces to be renovated they expressed a strong need for storage and customization. They allowed us to design every detail as well as oversee the entire construction process directing our team of skilled craftsmen. The home is a traditional home so it was important for us to retain some of the traditional elements while incorporating our clients style preferences.

Earthy and elemental materials are selected for the home that reference the barn without directly mimicking it. Kitchen includes, crisp, clean white shaker cabinets, oak wood flooring, subway tile, eat-in breakfast nook, stainless appliances, calcatta grey quartz counterops, and beautiful custom butcher block. Back porch converted to mudroom with locker storage, bench seating, and durable COREtec flooring. Two smaller bedrooms were converted into gorgeous master suite with newly remodeled master bath. Second story children's bathroom was a complete remodel including double pedestal sinks, porcelain flooring and new fixtures throughout.

Corine Maggio DesignThis adorable beach cottage is in the heart of the village of La Jolla in San Diego. The goals were to brighten up the space and be the perfect beach get-away for the client whose permanent residence is in Arizona. Some of the ways we achieved the goals was to place an extra high custom board and batten in the great room and by refinishing the kitchen cabinets (which were in excellent shape) white. We created interest through extreme proportions and contrast. Though there are a lot of white elements, they are all offset by a smaller portion of very dark elements. We also played with texture and pattern through wallpaper, natural reclaimed wood elements and rugs. This was all kept in balance by using a simplified color palate minimal layering.
