"The structural requirements alone presented significant challenges, not to mention the advanced filtration systems concealed within the architectural elements." Complementing the aquarium are sophisticated water features designed to create a multisensory arrival experience. Subtle water channels embedded in the marble flooring guide visitors along the entrance path, while a sculptural water wall creates gentle acoustic ambiance that masks external noise. The landscape company Dubai residents recognize for innovative water integration collaborated closely with interior specialists to ensure seamless transitions between outdoor and indoor water elements. This partnership enabled the creation of a reflecting pool that begins in the exterior arrival court and continues into the foyer, visually connecting the spaces while maintaining environmental separation. Illuminating this aquatic wonderland is a constellation of customized chandeliers that cascade from the vaulted ceiling. Each fixture represents a bespoke artistic commission, featuring hand-blown glass elements and programmable LED technology that can transform the atmosphere from vibrant daytime brilliance to subtle evening ambiance.

Throughout the room, touches of gold and champagne bring a soft shimmer to the space without overwhelming the soothing palette. The sculptural bench at the foot of the bed features striking metal legs, complementing the detailing on the chair and light fixtures.

At the core of this dream backyard is a custom-designed pool and spa, meticulously planned and built together. The pool glows with a Pebble Brilliance finish, its deep, vibrant tones shimmering under sunlight by day and glowing softly under water-lit skies at night. Lightstreams glass tile adds a jewelry-like elegance to the raised spa and the sun shelf, creating rich reflections and textures from every angle. That sundeck isn’t just for lounging—it’s a tactile, thoughtful experience. Designed with Lightstreams glass tile, it’s where kids play, grownups cool off, and everyone can dip their toes and soak their feet in style. It’s as inviting to walk across as it is to sit beside, offering both elegance and functionality. A standout design element is the set of custom stainless steel handrails, elegantly curved and installed with sculptural intent. The entire project was engineered to meet 100-year flood zone requirements—a critical design element in this El Paso neighborhood. And there’s more than water to love here. The oversized mossrock boulder waterfall along the edge of the putting green is both functional and artistic. Designed as a “table rock” feature, it creates soothing sound and visual movement while anchoring the landscape’s natural side. It’s a conversation piece as much as a sensory experience. Just steps away is a personal putting green and a custom basketball half court, both thoughtfully illuminated for day-to-night enjoyment. The putting green rolls true, edged with boulders and sand pits, while the court boasts pro-level surfacing under bright, architectural pole lighting. The surrounding landscape design ties it all together. Carefully chosen plantings bring color, texture, and balance to the clean stonework and turf areas. Strategic lighting highlights not just the beauty of the plants, but also enhances safety, drama, and ambiance across the entire yard—including the fence lines, water features, and sports zones. Private Residence - Paradise Valley, AZ Glass Description: Glass Door Insert 3/8" Clear Tempered Kiln-Fired Glass Texture: Custom Fused Color: Dark Amber / Copper Shimmer

Every successful bath project starts with the right design plan and for this teen’s bathroom, creating a stylish space reflecting their personalities was a must. Safety features, good lighting and proper ventilation improved the usability and enhanced the space for these young adults. We recommended a vent fan that not only removes unwanted moisture but also can stream their favorite music from their smart phones Bluetooth so that the phones can stay safe and dry in a nearby room. Transitional larger format tile in a neutral grey tone, unique and decorative glass tile and brushed nickel edging around the shower cubby added an element of dimension and style. The decorative tile created a stunning focal-point to the back wall of the shower and complimented the brushed nickel fixtures and tending finishes of the white quartz countertop and grey-blend porcelain plank flooring.

Blackout lined faux silk Roman shades with crystal trim are layered with shimmery sheers hung from chrome rods with chunky crsytal finials. West Elm bedding and Wayfair pillows/ chair/ lamps/ mirror/ accent tables were used to make a statement.

This client wanted his guests visiting in Boston to feel as if they were staying in a luxury hotel. We designed chic fully upholstered beds in a silver fabric with a shimmer, and topped them off with all-over nickel nailhead trim. We dressed the beds in custom designed crisp white linens with a charcoal inset banding that give a clean, sophisticated, and "hotel" feel to the room. The custom teal geometric pillows adds pop of color that coordinated with the abstract art hung across the room. Overall, we wanted the design to remain minimal and clean to allow for the gorgeous church window to be the star.

"After" - This project was designed to remodel an existing living room / red brick fireplace surround to provide a more contemporary and brighter look to the room. The existing room featured a central fireplace / wood mantelpiece surrounded by floor to ceiling dark oak bookshelves. The color choice above the mantle was a rich maroon color and the whole combination achieved a rich and warm but pretty dark tone that made the room feel small. The design concept involved completely changing and lightening the look of the fireplace in a style similar to the painted brick style seen often in colonial Williamsburg and similar areas in and around the Tidewater region of Virginia. Of the various colors featured in many “Williamsburg palettes”, the Client wanted to brighten the room with a neutral off-white scheme. The bookshelves came out altogether, and the previous look of crowding and clutter gave way to a broad light allspice featuring the light colored brick fireplace. Above the mantle if the main feature on the wall - the abstract painting named “Mystére”. Mystére is the commissioned artwork portion of this remodeling project. It is a member of the Galactic Series of my paintings. It is painted on a foundation of jet black. The contrasting colors were inspired (roughly speaking) by the six colors in a friend’s eyes that seem to change depending on the light. Mystére combines those base colors with metallic powder emulsion to achieve the shimmering effects. It is displayed in a jet black floating frame, and was briefly displayed as part of an exhibit at Arts on Main in Gloucester, Virginia prior to finding its permanent home in Virginia Beach.

Starting with a crisp clean palette of white on white for this Floridian bathroom, we added some sparkle with shimmering accent tiles and gold fixtures. The homeowner’s antique pieces are juxtaposed the clean lines of the cabinetry for a unique look that truly reflects her personal style.
