This family room is open to the kitchen and breakfast nook. The Global Views peacock pattern area rug introduces the vibrant green and turquoise tones used throughout the space. Geometric blue and white lounge chairs play on the pattern of the area rug and the bookshelf wallpaper. Wallpapering the backs of your bookshelves adds an extra layer of style. Location: Nantucket, MA, USA A gorgeous New England beach compound which features a tranquil, sophisticated kitchen. The blue backsplash is the perfect backdrop to a sunny breakfast at the island or a glamorous dinner party in the paneled banquet. The cabinets are accented with hand-made European hardware that enhances the bespoke nature of the kitchen. The children's bathroom has a fun penny tile on the floor juxtaposed against the over-sized subway wall tile. This modestly sized dining room is open to the entry foyer and great room. The solid grey stained oak table has a curvaceous base. Upholstered dining chairs have easy care performance fabric and contrasting host chairs in teal velvet. Bold abstracted artwork mimics the pattern in the drapery fabric.

There's plenty of space in this kitchen for boys to find a snack and parents prepare food and entertain. Pops of color and sturdy barstools with wipeable seats round out the design decisions.
