This creative transitional space was transformed from a very dated layout that did not function well for our homeowners - who enjoy cooking for both their family and friends. They found themselves cooking on a 30" by 36" tiny island in an area that had much more potential. A completely new floor plan was in order. An unnecessary hallway was removed to create additional space and a new traffic pattern. New doorways were created for access from the garage and to the laundry. Just a couple of highlights in this all Thermador appliance professional kitchen are the 10 ft island with two dishwashers (also note the heated tile area on the functional side of the island), double floor to ceiling pull-out pantries flanking the refrigerator, stylish soffited area at the range complete with burnished steel, niches and shelving for storage. By combining green cabinets with wooden island cabinet, we saved the kitchen from mediocrity and blended it with gold fixtures, giving your kitchen a brand-new look and vitality.

This was a whole house remodel, the owners are more transitional in style, and they had a lot of special requests including the suspended bar seats on the bar, as well as the geometric circles that were custom to their space. The doors, moulding, trim work and bar are all completely custom to their aesthetic interests. We tore out a lot of walls to make the kitchen and living space a more open floor plan for easier communication, The hidden bar is to the right of the kitchen, replacing the previous closet pantry that we tore down and replaced with a framed wall, that allowed us to create a hidden bar (hidden from the living room) complete with a tall wine cooler on the end of the island. This narrow apartment corridor is designed to provide clear, comfortable circulation while using the available wall space efficiently. Floor-to-ceiling cabinetry creates generous concealed storage without obstructing the passage. Light wood flooring and pale doors visually extend the hallway, while a concrete-look accent surface, artwork, and linear lighting add depth and character. The open view towards the kitchen also creates a natural connection between adjoining spaces.

Vistafolia provided a striking, space-saving solution to creating beautiful greenery for this garden. A large rear wall that is around 100 years old distinguishes the very shady area of this garden and an artificial green wall made a welcome addition that made the wall stand out. Adding a vertical green wall would serve as the dominant feature of the small outdoors space, affording beautiful green views from every floor of the four-story house. Creating a living green wall in this situation would have been extremely challenging, however, and only Vistafolia could provide a practical maintenance-free solution
