An architectural wonder transformed with the sophisticated application of Hardie panels and V-groove siding. This substantial endeavor has not only added a great value to the property but has also redefined the aesthetic appeal with its immaculate quality and precision.
Every inch of this project reflects our unwavering commitment to delivering perfection. Our skilled artisans meticulously installed the Hardie panels, renowned for their durability and elegance, complemented by the classic beauty of V-groove siding. Together, they breathe life into the exterior, ensuring it's not only structurally robust but visually stunning.
While the scale of the project is immense, our dedication to quality and detail remains unhindered. We've masterfully executed every aspect, reflecting the high standards we uphold at our company. The result is a visual treat that stands as a testament to our craftsmanship and passion for delivering nothing but the best.

This remodel transformed a dark and tiny kitchen into a bright and fresh space with lots of function and working surface. This client's space was inherently tiny, and budget didn't quite allow for expansion. So, we had to make the most of what we had! In working with the existing footprint, we were able to introduce taller cabinetry, integrate convenient storage features in base cabinets, and install a massive countertop that provides substantial hosting and prepping surface from three sides. With an exceptionally pretty backsplash and a fun pop of color in the bar stools, this kitchen brings home a fresh transitional look that carries simplicity and convenience throughout.

In this kitchen up in Desert Mountain, we provided all of the cabinetry, countertops and backsplash to create the Mid Century Modern style for our clients remodel. The transformation is substantial compared to the size and layout it was before, making it more linear and doubling in size.
For the perimeter we have white skinny shaker cabinetry with pops of Hickory wood to add some warmth and a seamless countertop backsplash. The island features painted black cabinetry with the skinny shaker style for some contrast and is over 14' long with enough seating for 8 people. In the fireplace bar area, we have also the black cabinetry with a fun pop of color for the backsplash tile along with honed black granite countertops. The selection choices of painted cabinetry, wood tones, gold metals, concrete flooring and furniture selections carry the style throughout and brings in great texture, contrast and warmth.
Find the right local pro for your project

This kitchen remodel was designed to make a statement—balancing bold character with refined craftsmanship to create a space that’s both highly functional and visually unforgettable.
At the heart of the design is a striking contrast palette. Crisp white perimeter cabinetry keeps the space bright and open, while rich black lower cabinets and a substantial island ground the room with depth and sophistication. The oversized island serves as both a functional workspace and a central gathering point, topped with a dramatic stone surface that adds movement and texture.
The flooring plays a defining role in the overall aesthetic. A custom black-and-white patterned tile layout introduces energy and personality, transforming the kitchen into a true design centerpiece while maintaining a timeless appeal. This bold foundation is thoughtfully balanced by clean lines, classic shaker cabinetry, and elegant hardware selections.
Functionality was a key driver throughout the project. The layout maximizes workflow efficiency with dedicated zones for cooking, prep, and cleanup. A professional-grade range anchors the island, while the farmhouse sink positioned beneath large windows brings in natural light and enhances the everyday experience. Custom storage solutions—including extended cabinetry, integrated dish storage, and built-in appliance areas—ensure everything has its place without compromising the clean aesthetic.
Lighting was carefully layered to elevate both form and function. Statement pendant fixtures above the island add architectural interest, while recessed lighting provides consistent illumination throughout the space.
The result is a kitchen that feels both elevated and livable—where bold design choices meet practical everyday use. It’s a space designed not just to cook in, but to gather, entertain, and truly enjoy.

Taking our cue from the beautiful, wooded-view, we transformed this corner-office into a peaceful, professional retreat. Being the office of Carrie, the owner and founder of Cedar, we wanted it to feel substantial. We achieved this with the quality pieces that we selected - everything from the Mid-Century Modern console tables to the gray, linen sofa.

Well-traveled. Relaxed. Timeless.
Our well-traveled clients were soon-to-be empty nesters when they approached us for help reimagining their Presidio Heights home. The expansive Spanish-Revival residence originally constructed in 1908 had been substantially renovated 8 year prior, but needed some adaptations to better suit the needs of a family with three college-bound teens. We evolved the space to be a bright, relaxed reflection of the family’s time together, revising the function and layout of the ground-floor rooms and filling them with casual, comfortable furnishings and artifacts collected abroad.
One of the key changes we made to the space plan was to eliminate the formal dining room and transform an area off the kitchen into a casual gathering spot for our clients and their children. The expandable table and coffee/wine bar means the room can handle large dinner parties and small study sessions with similar ease. The family room was relocated from a lower level to be more central part of the main floor, encouraging more quality family time, and freeing up space for a spacious home gym.
In the living room, lounge-worthy upholstery grounds the space, encouraging a relaxed and effortless West Coast vibe. Exposed wood beams recall the original Spanish-influence, but feel updated and fresh in a light wood stain. Throughout the entry and main floor, found artifacts punctate the softer textures — ceramics from New Mexico, religious sculpture from Asia and a quirky wall-mounted phone that belonged to our client’s grandmother.

This was a major transformation in a Chatham home off Riverside Drive in Sandy Springs, Georgia. A peninsula was removed and replaced with a substantial island and large cased openings to the living and sunroom.

This cottage style family home within a private estate was transformed through a full house renovation, reworking the internal layout and extending the property to create a more contemporary, spacious and practical home for modern family life.
The project involved switching the downstairs layout from east to west, allowing the main living spaces to work more naturally with the light, views and flow of the house. A substantial upstairs extension was also added, giving the family the additional space they needed while carefully balancing the original character of the home with a more modern architectural approach.
Designed for a large family with children ranging from very young to teenagers, the interiors needed to feel elegant and high-end, while still being robust, comfortable and welcoming. The scheme brought together luxury finishes, bespoke detailing and carefully considered layouts to create a home that feels both refined and liveable.
A key part of the brief was to incorporate the client’s much loved antique pieces into the new design. These items added history, personality and a sense of permanence, helping the contemporary glass structure and extended areas feel connected to the story of the house.
The result is a sophisticated family home that blends character, artisan craftsmanship, contemporary architecture and timeless interior design, a luxurious but practical home created for family life.

Collaboration of nature and modern home design
Often when motivations point to a more modern interior space, the direction of materials and furnishings leans to hard lines, harsh juxtaposition of cold finishes and a level of simplicity that can feel sterile. When broad horizons, airy space and modern inclinations was on this client’s wish list, we dug in on nailing the right overall schematic flow, affording opportunity for natural textures and selections in a warmer, neutral palette to collaborate in order to develop harmonious ambiance and depth. Notable project highlights were efforts to open up and carve out a chef’s kitchen with modern appliances, bold wooden & quartz-clad bar for gatherings, an extra guest bedroom off the entry that could double as a hide-away video game room, and a master suite with a more suitable layout for work at home office setup, optimized waterfront view potential, and fresh bathroom aesthetics.
Maximizing the architectural potential
Broad glass sliders, floor-to-ceiling fixed pane windows in a dark bronze metal finish and a magnificent custom mahogany front door added great architectural features to this formerly mostly characterless home. Appointing the right wall coverings and solid surface materials furthered the goals of flow, serenity and balance. Achieving a beautiful symbiosis of rich darks and soft lights, coastal-inspired textures in the furnishings – everything from the bleached wood-look tile floors to the thin bamboo burnout-pattern window treatments – work towards a multi-layered, coastal contemporary vibe inspired by the home’s natural surroundings that the client loved.
This client trusted the process; let us run with our vision for something completely unique and landed with an amazing turn-key project that exceeded all expectations, particularly with COVID and a hurricane taking out bridge access to the property. A primary residence sure – but we definitely also created a getaway in it’s own right. We love the transformation and know this home’s value increased substantially by the time we were done!

Once home to antiquarian Horace Walpole, ‘Heckfield Place’ has been judiciously re-crafted into an ‘effortlessly stylish' countryside hotel with beautiful bedrooms, as well as two restaurants, a private cinema, Little Bothy spa, wine cellar, gardens and Home Farm, centred on sustainability and biodynamic farming principles.
Spratley & Partners completed the dramatic transformation of the 430-acre site in Hampshire into the UK’s most eagerly anticipated, luxury hotel in 2018, after a significant programme of restoration works which began in 2009 for private investment company, Morningside Group.
Later, modern additions to the site, which was being used as a conference centre and wedding venue, were largely unsympathetic and not in-keeping with the original form and layout; the house was extended in the 1980s with a block of bedrooms and conference facilities which were small, basic and required substantial upgrading. The rooms in the listed building had also been subdivided, creating cramped spaces and disrupting the historical plan of the house.
After years of careful restoration and collaboration, this elegant, Grade II listed Georgian house and estate has been brought back to life and sensitively woven into its secluded landscape surroundings.

A classic colonial transformation was the task at hand. Taking typical compartmentalized rooms and creating an open concept with expansive windows and updating all the finishes not only brought the outside in but also completely reconfigured the flow and sightlines of the home.
Set in a tranquil and private setting made maximizing natural light and vistas a priority. The walk-out basement now has open unobstructed views of the sparkling in-ground pool and native landscaping. Contemporary finishes, new custom built-in murphy bed and media wall, as well as a renovated full bath, wet bar and home gym tie the renovation together seamlessly.
The first floor overhaul consists of a true open concept kitchen, dining and living spaces. The kitchen was designed without upper cabinets allowing for panoramic outdoor views as well as open and airy work surfaces with tandem islands. A brand new mudroom was designed as the perfect transition between garage and renovated first level. Along with a brand new stair design, wall paneling, renovated powder room, flooring and new light fixtures throughout gave this outdated home a fresh facelift.
The exterior's total modification was enhanced with a distinct new entry flanked by substantial stone columns and double height entry. All new siding, windows and spacious deck completed the total improvements and created a truly remarkable before and after project!

We've transformed this cozy courtyard by the river valley into the ultimate focal point of this home. A substantial custom cedar pergola was created as the centrepiece, with plenty of spacing underneath for relaxing and entertaining. Rich, green foliage was used to emphasize the lush feeling of the forest. Artificial turf was used throughout to maintain a neat and verdant look without the upkeep involved, perfect for the homeowner's dog. Using a variety of paving stone throughout creates interest as well as tie in the entire courtyard together, making it flow. This courtyard is the ultimate summer relaxation spot, and we are pleased to help these wonderful homeowners create it!

This Knotty Alder pantry suite serves as the functional anchor of the kitchen, proving that high-capacity storage can be executed with the same artisan elegance as a master spa. In this Hayden estate, we didn't just install cabinets; we engineered a floor-to-ceiling millwork system that maintains the home's "Mountain Modern" aesthetic while providing professional-grade organization.
Hayden Estate: Artisan Knotty Alder Pantry & Built-In Suite
In a luxury custom build, the pantry should be a seamless extension of the kitchen’s architecture. This expansive unit was designed to handle the heavy demands of a high-end household, balancing concealed storage with open accessibility—all while showcasing the natural, rustic character of hand-finished wood.
Technical & Artisan Highlights:
Integrated Storage Architecture: This massive built-in unit features a symmetrical layout designed for maximum efficiency. The tall, wardrobe-style flanking cabinets provide deep, concealed storage for bulk goods and appliances, while the central alcove features adjustable thick-set shelving for immediate access.
Precision Knotty Alder Millwork: Every door is a traditional Shaker-style panel, hand-selected to highlight the complex grain and organic knots of the Alder. This consistency in material ties the kitchen directly to the custom vanities and trim found throughout the rest of the residence.
Furniture-Grade Construction: Note the substantial crown molding that caps the unit and the seamless fit into the room's alcove. This isn't "out of the box" cabinetry; it’s a site-specific installation that utilizes heavy-duty, oil-rubbed bronze hardware for a high-end tactile feel.
Invisible HVAC Integration: We meticulously engineered the base of the cabinetry to incorporate the home’s mechanicals. The precision-cut baseboard vent allows for unobstructed airflow while maintaining the clean, uninterrupted lines of the wood toe-kick.
Design Continuity: By using the same Shaker profiles and wood species as the bathroom suites, we’ve created a unified "Estate" feel. This level of detail ensures that even the most functional zones of the home—like a pantry—meet the same "expensive and creative" standard as the primary living spaces.
