THEME The main theme for this room is an active, physical and personalized experience for a growing boy. This was achieved with the use of bold colors, creative inclusion of personal favorites and the use of industrial materials. FOCUS The main focus of the room is the 12 foot long x 4 foot high elevated bed. The bed is the focal point of the room and leaves ample space for activity within the room beneath. A secondary focus of the room is the desk, positioned in a private corner of the room outfitted with custom lighting and suspended desktop designed to support growing technical needs and school assignments. STORAGE A large floor armoire was built at the far die of the room between the bed and wall.. The armoire was built with 8 separate storage units that are approximately 12”x24” by 8” deep. These enclosed storage spaces are convenient for anything a growing boy may need to put away and convenient enough to make cleaning up easy for him. The floor is built to support the chair and desk built into the far corner of the room. GROWTH The room was designed for active ages 8 to 18. There are three ways to enter the bed, climb the knotted rope, custom rock wall, or pipe monkey bars up the wall and along the ceiling. The ladder was included only for parents. While these are the intended ways to enter the bed, they are also a convenient safety system to prevent younger siblings from getting into his private things. SAFETY This room was designed for an older child but safety is still a critical element and every detail in the room was reviewed for safety. The raised bed includes extra long and higher side boards ensuring that any rolling in bed is kept safe. The decking was sanded and edges cleaned to prevent any potential splintering. Power outlets are covered using exterior industrial outlets for the switches and plugs, which also looks really cool.

The MyNexus, from the Arianne Love collection, is a new concept loveseat that can be separated into 2 chairs, making it an ideal piece of modern furniture that can easily be adapted to any home's design. Like all Fama products, the MyNexus uses a webbing system for suspension and support instead of the old spring design that will sag over time. It also has a low profile design due to the attached leg supports that can come in either a chrome-finished metal or black-finished wood option.

The West Town GreenStar Retrofit is a historic landmarked two-flat in Ukranian Village that was converted to an efficient, healthy, and modern single-family home, while keeping interior and exterior historic character details. Special emphasis was put on indoor air quality and indoor-outdoor connections. The design focuses on non-toxic materials, good ventilation, low energy and water use, and the biophilic health advantages of light and views of nature. The kitchen, work, and family zones have views of the sun-filled south garden, an oasis in the urban environment containing native plants and fruit trees, rain garden, vegetable garden, chicken coop, apiary, and a patio. Outdoor connection and daylighting are also optimized through the skylight on the top level which spills light down the staircase. The energy strategy began with thorough retrofit insulation and air sealing, and included high performance windows and doors, solar thermal (hot water) and solar photovoltaic (electricity production) systems which support electric vehicle (EV) charging and high-efficiency smart lighting and appliances. HVAC is supplied by a combination of radiant heat, mini-split heat pumps, and a conditioning energy recovery ventilation system (CERV).

This new 7,200 SF Custom Designed (Rustic/Elegant Farmhouse Ranch) Home was built on part of the foundation of the previous home which was a split level. Our architectural strategy required a continuous first floor (10ft) and the home remained aligned with the existing circle driveway. The rustic metal roof front entrance porch (gas lanterns) leads into a massive 2 story center hall (home of a large, centered gathering table) to a large centered outdoor back yard courtyard (kitchen to the right and sports bar to the left) which centers on the new swimming pool and wide outdoor stairs of the retaining wall required for the extensive stormwater management system. That establishes the center of the home stretching over 100 ft from the front step to the back yard stairs flanked by 2 fire features highlighting the pool. The locations of other rooms listed below are to the right and left of this centered home line. Kitchen, kitchen fireplace, pantry, and guest suite are to the right. Entrance to the finished basement theater room are to the right along with a bar to support events in the center hall. To the left of the center 2 story hall are the exercise room with sauna (with glass garage type door to the front porch), sport bar with theater and see through fireplace, game room, mudroom, laundry, 4 car conditioned garage, and pool changing rooms. From the centered 2 story hall to the right is the glass stairwell and curved stairs made of white oak and wrought iron. These beautiful stairs lead to the library balcony overlooking the massive center hall and large gathering dining table. From the right of the balcony are the primary suite with a private 2nd floor porch and a bedroom suite. From the left of the balcony are 2 more suites with a laundry room, kitchenette, and a large EZ Breeze, closed in porch that overlooks the pool and provides coverage over the pool patio next to the see through fireplace in the sports bar theater room.
The exterior is James Hardie fibercement and limestone veneer. Fascia and frieze boards are capped with heavy roof metal materials. The front porch roof is standing metal seam and columns and ceiling are rustic, reclaimed wood.

Custom Knotty Alder Daughter's Suite: Integrated Storage & Home Tech
We designed this daughter's bedroom as a fully unified sanctuary, leveraging intricate, hand-finished millwork to create a seamless living and media hub. By strictly utilizing the same custom Knotty Alder found throughout the entire Hayden estate, we ensured the secondary rooms deliver the identical "no-expense-spared" standard as the primary master suite.
Artisan Features & Construction Excellence:
Complete Knotty Alder Media Wall: The centerpiece of the room is a comprehensive Knotty Alder built-in system. This isn't just cabinetry; it's a structural element designed to define the room’s function, showcasing the natural, rustic texture that balances the home’s modern technology.
Integrated Media Console: The lower cabinetry features a dedicated media console with open component shelving and concealable storage drawers. We engineered the console to support a integrated smart TV (note the kitchen construction detail on the screen!), seamlessly hiding all wiring behind the precision panel work.
High-Capacity Floor-to-Ceiling Storage: Flanking the media zone are massive linen towers and wardrobes, providing sophisticated, long-term organization. Every door and drawer utilizes furniture-grade joinery and substantial, traditional hardware to match the luxury aesthetic of the home's plumbing.
Unified Architectural Details: We extended the Knotty Alder into substantial architectural casings, framing the expansive window/slider and tying the room into the surrounding Idaho landscape. This continuity of material creates a sophisticated, "Mountain Modern" environment throughout the entire residence.
Technical Flow: Note the complex integration of the built-ins into the room’s geometry, including the perfectly fit baseboard trim. This level of finish work demonstrates our capability to manage complex millwork installations as effectively as our advanced Kohler hydrotherapy systems.

No detail was overlooked in this mid-century modern home in Colleyville, Texas. The walnut-paneled wine room serves as a focal point surrounded by the kitchen, dining and living rooms. The custom wine racking system connects horizontal metal storage rods with vertical supports mounted to the floor and ceiling. The system accommodates individual bottles, bulk storage and large formats bottles. The custom insulated glass windows and door complete the enclosure.

The Waterfall racking on both sides gives dimension to the room with a wine barrel as the focal point. The lighting valance around the room supports the lighting which illuminates that warm glow. A cork floor provides a unique look as well as protection for those bottles that may accidentally fall. The back of the custom door was completely covered by corks. Painting and Cabinetry
Freshly painted walls harmonize with the new design elements, enhancing the overall ambiance. We installed European-style pale-pine cabinets, adding a touch of sophistication and brightness. Apollo quartz countertops were installed, offering a sleek and durable surface for all culinary activities. The backsplash was updated to complement the countertops, enhancing the overall aesthetic while ensuring easy maintenance.
Lighting Enhancements
The lighting upgrades are both functional and decorative. Under-cabinet lighting enhances visibility and highlights the new cabinetry and countertops. Elegant pendant lights above the peninsula create a focal point and provide ambient lighting, adding sophistication to the area. New LED recessed lighting in the ceiling ensures the entire space is brightly illuminated, offering energy-efficient, high-quality light for everyday activities.
Plumbing & Electrical
We upgraded the plumbing system, including the installation of a new sink, to ensure optimal performance and reliability. The electrical systems were also updated to support the new lighting and appliances in the kitchen area, ensuring safety and efficiency.
This kitchen transformation showcases a harmonious blend of modern design and practical upgrades, resulting in a space that is both beautiful and highly functional. In this remodel, we gutted out the interior log truss supports and replaced them with steel channels, giving the house a more modern look. The Pergola was added to enhance the modern feel of the exterior. It features a sleek design and a cantilever support post on the end. The outside wood storage area was made to look like it continued through the wall to the inside. The trim around the wood storage, gas fireplace, and TV mounting area was spaced out from the rock for back lighting. Then, the project was left with a natural steel finish. Keeping with the modern theme, the electronic gate system was designed to have a very simple look.

Complete Hillside Backyard Renovation, El Paso – by GoDesigns
This breathtaking backyard transformation in the historic area of El Paso, Texas, is a shining example of GoDesigns’ vision, expertise, and resilience. Situated on a challenging hillside property, the original backyard installed in 2005 was plagued by critical design flaws that led to a complete failure of the outdoor space. The existing negative edge pool, improperly installed with insufficient grade, drainage, and support, caused massive water loss and structural issues. The consequences were severe — the side rock wall broke in half, the backyard destabilized, and even a portion of the house was compromised.
GoDesigns was brought in to turn crisis into opportunity. During the height of COVID-19, they launched Phase 1 of a multi-phase master plan to restore and reinvent the space. The entire backyard was demolished, including the compromised pool shell. The broken negative edge section was filled in, making way for a reimagined pool design. A new, reinforced pool structure was shot, finished with 5cm tumbled travertine coping, oversized mossrock boulders, new waterline tile, and a premium PebbleTec interior.
Beneath the beauty lies smart engineering: GoDesigns replaced all plumbing and regraded the property, applying subsurface remediation and compaction techniques to ensure long-term stability. A new rocksalt steel reinforced concrete deck was poured, replacing the narrow wraparound layout with a spacious, functional outdoor living area. Now, the family enjoys ample room for chaise lounges, alfresco dining, and relaxing by the existing outdoor fireplace — luxuries they never had before.
GoDesigns didn’t stop there. Advanced drainage systems — including underground piping, box drains, and planter drains — were installed to protect the integrity of the hillside. These systems are integrated into leveled planters that not only beautify the space but also reinforce the structure of the pool and surrounding terrain.
Phase 2 focused on upgrading the patio directly outside the main house, while Phase 3 was the final touch — a lush landscape planting plan paired with elegant outdoor lighting to enhance ambiance and curb appeal.
What was once a scene of despair is now a luxurious retreat — completed in thoughtfully timed phases over four years. Thanks to GoDesigns’ master planning and unwavering commitment, this hillside haven is a true testament to transformation. The clients are now looking forward to their next chapter: the front yard.

This completed jewelry store renovation has transformed a traditional retail space into an elegant, modern, and inviting environment, designed to enhance the customer experience and showcase the store’s high-end collections. The design focuses on blending luxury with functionality, creating a sophisticated atmosphere that highlights both the beauty of the jewelry and the comfort of the shopping experience.
The layout has been redesigned to allow for an open and intuitive flow, with carefully placed display cases that ensure each piece is prominently featured. Custom-built cabinetry, glass display cases, and polished lighting create an atmosphere of elegance, making the jewelry the centerpiece of the space. Energy-efficient LED lighting was integrated to highlight the brilliance of the jewels while maintaining a welcoming and warm ambiance.
The store's flooring has been updated with high-quality materials like marble or polished wood to complement the luxurious feel, while the walls were adorned with textured finishes and tasteful artwork, adding visual interest without overwhelming the space. The fitting areas were designed for privacy and comfort, providing a relaxed environment for customers to try on pieces.
A state-of-the-art security system was also installed to protect the valuable inventory, blending seamlessly into the design. The renovation also included updated plumbing and electrical systems to support the store's operational needs. This jewelry store renovation successfully combines aesthetics with functionality, offering a refined and inviting space that elevates both the customer experience and the overall brand identity.
